"Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment has revealed some additional effects and scenarios from the Levolution feature in the upcoming multiplatform video game, Battlefield 4. According to a blog post from the official Battlefield website on Aug. 9, the studio stated that players will be able to activate more scenarios other than taking down a giant skyscraper.
Digital Illusions Creative Entertainment said that the feature is much more than just massive feats of destruction or pretty graphics as it will also affect the gameplay. The weather conditions as well as the internal building lights, for example, could be changed in order to the change the visibility of all players in the area. Moreover, you can use car alarms and metal detectors to spot enemies while utilizing bollards to impede hostile vehicles.
More specific details were also revealed for the aforementioned giant skyscraper scenario. Destroying the building would kill all players inside it. Furthermore, the map would be covered in dust. As a result, snipers will be at a disadvantage due to the low visibility, especially at longer distances. Players are forced to engage in combat in shorter range due to the effects of this particular Levolution scenario.
The multiplayer matches in Battlefield 4 are expected to be more dynamic due to the new environmental destruction elements. Players should get a taste at the Levolution feature with the multiplayer beta coming out later this fall.
The final version of Battlefield 4 will begin shipping on Oct. 29 for multiple platforms."

I think the map we already seen will be in the beta, but I heard of the possiblities of an extra map and mode in the beta. Though it's great to hear that other things will happen for the battles to feel more dynamic than either.
