I don't know why but I think I enjoyed the PS3 demo/beta more. Marking people with the select button is easier on the fingers.
Get it for the 360 so that you will actually be able to play the game in the future. They couldn't even support Killzone 2 and now it is harder to find a match than in Gears of War 2 at launch.
Pure lemming propaganda at its finest.. i Played Killzone 2 online earlier tonight, 50 rooms all almost full with 3,000 people playing online.. MW2 on average always has 400,000 or more people online at one time.. Uncharted 2 on average has 8500 people online at one time, MAG has a average of 32,000 people online at one time. Right...fanboy much?
I would wait for bc2 to come out officially.
At the moment I'm liking the ps3 version better, just becase the select button is easier to hit than back, and that the DS3's d pad is easier to access than the 360 (this entirely depends on the size of your hand). Graphic wise, 360 wins by a tiny bit, but I could hardly care about that for this game.
Honestly, the controls makes a world of differance imo, so I would suggest you to try it out on both controller if you can.
Oh and your statement "its harder to find a match than Gears of war 2" shows you never played or play Killzone 2 online.. Killzone 2 doenst use a matchmaking system, you just search for rooms and its a go, you always see tons of matches to choose from.Get it for the 360 so that you will actually be able to play the game in the future. False. There are still plenty of games to play on whatever map/mode you like. I was playing it the other night and had no trouble at all
Well, I'm getting it on 360 because a) That's the system I have the first one, and b) My dad loves Bad Company and he dislikes the PS3(I know, he's crazy). I guess I'll just have to stick with MAG for my PS3 multiplayer. That and Uncharted 2.

[/QUOTE Thats exactly what it is, a fanboy. Im still waiting on him to answer how "its hard to find a match in Killzone 2" when you just simply click on the match you want to play and you have a list of matches to join, its not a matchmaking system so i dont see how its hard to find a match. .There is always 3,000 or more people playing Killzone 2 at one time, hmm 32 players per match. Thats plenty of people to get a match going
Hes spewing the age old system wars lemming propaganda "noone plays PS3 mp games anymore after a few months" I bet i could put in the first motorstorm and first resistance and find people online still. And there are always plenty of matches to choose from in Killzone 2"Bigger user base" oh yea thats sooo important, the 360 might have 30k more people online playing than the PS3 version, not like your going to play with all 2 million people that own the game to begin with.. Lemmings crack me up360... bigger user base, better controller.

Exactly, this might have been the same guy who said in a previous thread a couple months ago that when you play Warhawk now you will only see 3 active matches to join lol.. It was extremely hillarious to say the least360... bigger user base, better controller.

Trust me. The PS3 version will still have a large user base two years from now. Also, the controller thing is opinionative.

From what Ive seen, the 360 edition has slightly better graphics in trees and explosions, but the PS3 version has a more responsive controller. Dont know if its a different version or if it is something else. There have been reports on the 360 edition having bad controller recognition, with many movements issues. I think that there are even videos on youtube about it. I noticed it when playing, as Im mostly a Recon, so I move the sight slowly.
The tree's look terrible on the 360 are you sure you didn't mix up your systems? I've heard this a lot lately but from playing the PS3 beta extensively and both demo's, PS3 version looks better and controls better. Just to further clarify this myth about the tree's, 360 tree's look like they are covered in burlap. I suspect that the beta for the PS3 has got it's version more refinements in time for the demo. I expect both will be approved upon on final release as there was from beta to the demo. From what Ive seen, the 360 edition has slightly better graphics in trees and explosions, but the PS3 version has a more responsive controller. No but seriously, it looks better on 360, the controller is AMAZING 4 fps. And the community will be much better supported. Who knows, might get some exclusive Dee El Cee
BC2 will sell fine on the PS3. Probably not as much as 360, but still more than enough to have a strong community. We don't even really know what the 360 version looks like since the demo that's out isn't the full game graphically. The Beta that was on PS3 looked much more impressive than the demo. Here's a video from the Beta a few months back
BFBC1 still has a large amount of people playing on the PS3 :|. The BFBC fanbase is nothing like the fickle fanbases of COD/KZ2.Get it for the 360 so that you will actually be able to play the game in the future. Well, I will have to check again. That was my impression, but I might be wrong xD Thanks
I expect the differences to be very minor, if there are any at all.
I don't think you could go wrong with either one. PS3 has free online, but the 360 has a better controller for FPS' (imo).
Also:
Get the version that most of your friends are getting. You'll have a lot of fun then.
The-Mosher
^Listen to this guy
Both versions are identical, so get it for the console on which you have friends that will also be playing the game, or for the console that has the controller you prefer :)
I have a 360 and I'm buying a ps3 and I want to buy BF:BC2 and I was wondering what console to buy it for. Is any console getting any exclusive dlc or anything please let help decide. Also, I would appreciate if no one recommends it on a console because they are fanboy. Sorry if I put this in wrong section I did not know where to post this thread.redskins26rocs
ye, good luck with that...
There are tons of other threads on this exact same subject in system wars that you should probably check but the main jist of it is that you should purchase-
1. The version that most of your friends will get
2. The version which has the most comfortable controller in your opinion

PS3, better controller, free online, blu ray disc.

What the hell does Blu-Ray have anything to do with anything? If he already has Xbox Live, free online does not matter, and Better Controller? Subjective. Anyway, my solution is the best.
I was just throwing in my share of stupid reasons, like the "360 has more ppl online" arguement. You never know if you'll want to play in a year and you might not have Live payed for, and Blu Ray discs are really reliable so...
"Bigger user base" oh yea thats sooo important, the 360 might have 30k more people online playing than the PS3 version, not like your going to play with all 2 million people that own the game to begin with.. I own a 360, I'd love to know how having half a million or a million ppl online changes my game experience in a game with like a 16 player cap. Please Log In to post.
