Im sorry but the map design was TERRIBLE. Way too big. That game could have been way better. Hopefully Bad company 2 will be better, I think they said something about the maps being smaller, I walked around the maps way too much playing MP

I agree, it was great, couple bugs here and there but aside from that, I still play it.

Most of the fighting occurs at set points on the map and theres plenty of vehicles scattered around....i don't see how you had to walk so much...

the downside of the game to me is the singleplayer campaign looks like it was design for co-op from the beginning to the end, but i dont understand why they didnt put in a co-op mode. otherwise imo, BFBC is a very underrated game.

Yeah, all the game needs is to make it like BF2 where your immediate reaction to seeing someone is going prone immediately. :roll:Snipers kind of ruined BC for me. BF 1943 is a way more balanced and fun game. Hopefully BC2 will be more like 1943, but I doubt it.
BF:BC is one of my favorite multiplayer games. Very underrated.[QUOTE="gamesrdead4200"][QUOTE="Kimbo_Slyce"]

Ascension was my favorite map. Very intense and I like the tall buildings for sniping and the fog the makes it hard to see far away.SparkyProtocolAscension was a favorite for me too. I'd play as Demolition and usually come in first place across both teams.
Good game, underrated, but I liked 1943 more.

1943 got old quickly for me oh yeah, and I'm talking about BOTH versions; PC waaay back and the remake today on consoles. For some odd reason, Bad Company just never gets old for me. I just hope they add material penetration, more weapons, maybe perks, a new game-mode or two and maybe support for more players in Bad Company 2.
Bad Company was a blast, very underrated indeed.Stevo_the_gamerI have to try it stevo- I may make it my frist games on demand game.

I think there is penetration, but it just isn't as effective as COD4.[QUOTE="Kimbo_Slyce"][QUOTE="WAIW"]

I think there is penetration, but it just isn't as effective as COD4.Yeah there is penetration, but it only applies to wooden fences and tin fences. Those were penetrable in Battlefield 2 too ma fren. They should really upgrade the penetration and add it as an aspect that affects the tide of many gunfights if used correctly. One thing that would also be nice would be in-game clan support and also maybe a game mode with no destructability.I have to try it stevo- I may make it my frist games on demand game.I believe its cheaper if you just buy it at the store plus its a huge download; 6gb If I remember correctly. Here's something that exemplifies the cheapness of dolphin diving, AND the nightmarish hitbox detection that game has. The latter is due to the joke of an engine. Very few games have had an engine that was as ineffecient, broken, and downright bad as BF2's. And the worst part is; the jerks hardcoded the entire thing, so every mod for that game, no matter how awesome, has to bring along the groan-inducing faults of the engine with it. I'm not solely of the opinion that EA and DICE dropped the ball with BF2 in a gameplay and focal standpoint, but also in technical terms. That game was such a letdown for me, and it still is to this day.

the hitbox detection problem is just like that in BFBC and BF1943. Dice really needs to fix it.

...Que? There is absolutely no way the hitboxes in any of the recent BFs are like that.[QUOTE="Verge_6"]

I know! That just did it for me. I mean, everything else was good, but... just no. How will I camp now??!?!?Hitbox detection in the recent games hasnt been a problem my friends.YOU ARE JUS IMAGININ IT AMIRITE OR AMIRITE? Hitbox detection was at its worst in Battlefield: 2142. Anyone remember that piece of crap mod sold at full price?
Two game modes is more then enough for me. But maybe a free for all or team King of the Hill shipped with smaller maps and no vehicles would be nice.
They could actually fix up the single-player ya know! Oh and BTW, CoD4's original single-player was awful so if Infinity Ward continues with their archaic gaming traditions such as placing infinate respawning, then I'm sure MW2's campaign will also be pretty bad. But I hear that they wont...we'll just have to wait and see I guess.I dont beliefe its very underrated just because its single player was crap. Still its easly my favourite multiplayer game this gen. And yeah, Bad Company 2 is one of my most antecipated games...im sure it will be better than MW mp wise.
