This gets me thinking though, what if it really does take that long to make a game of this calibur? Will we now have to wait even longer before the true colors of next-gen are revealed?
To pull that off, I doubt they'll have 24 players online. The physics and explosions were mediocre at best, in my opinion. It looks like a slightly more refined 'destructible environment' then what we saw in Battlefield: Modern Combat, which was a joke...
i wished there wasnt so much smoke when you destroy the environment, ya its realistic, but shooting a wall and watching a cloud of smoke and a few pieces of rubble come out isn't that great, it should let you see all the pieces break fantastically first, AND then cover it up with smoke

This is news to me. I was under the impression that EA bought DICE, that DICE Stockholm still exists, and that for the most part the staff remained the same. That blog backs this up. The developer goals video released recently backs this up. Care to back up your claims with a credible source? Or anything at all?
So they turn a respectable "tactical" PC online shooter into some whacky action-movie wannabe game with stereotypical characters (The token black army dude who is always serious and his idiot sidekick) It's like a Family Guy episode making fun of what gaming is turning into..... too bad it's not joke.
