Battlefield Hardline closed Beta starts now on PC and PS4

Visceral announced that the BF Hardline Beta started at the end of their conference. but it's closed so act fast

Managed to get in, got the confirmation email, but I'm still waiting for it to appear in my games list.

Looking like all the places are taken already, the servers have been absolutely nuked :(

You'd think they're be ready for this stuff by now, I mean they've been making MP games for years

Lol. Got in on PC and hoping PS4 as well. No beta in my Origin games list though. Seems to be a common problem.

They've worked on SimCity 5 for years too, and look how great that turned out.

I can get it to authenticate on PC and PS4 but on page confirming my email and orgin Id are just "***" so not sure ist registered correctly

got in on ps4 but friends cant. 1 says it stopped showing up on overview. i hope they do something cause its total BS psn was brought down because of this and THEN EA also is having problems.

Yep, technical dificulties.. unless you fail your password and/or reset it seems.

Signed up for the PC but no E-mail yet.

I'm at the Battlelog page for Hardline on PC now but the beta will not download. This sure is fun.......

My power supply died so this is depresses me :(

PC players try these steps. Worked for me, downloading now

If you're on PC and trying to get it to show up in your library, do this:

• Sign into Battlelog
• Go here: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bfh...quickmatch/pc/
• Attempt to join a match

Once the "You need to install or patch the game before playing" message pops up, click continue once and don't touch anything. Origin should open, load momentarily, and add the game to your account. This may take several tries.

On PC -

If the quickmatch link doesn't work, logout from your battlelog account in the browser and then do it again.

I finally got signed in selected ps4. We shall see.

I read on pc gamers its play style is pretty similar to any other BF despite the different take on the game.

Thanks for the tips. Downloading now. Maybe we should get a System Wars group together or something? The other forums I'm on like Neogaf and Giantbomb always play games with each other. Maybe Gamespot users should do it too.

If it wasn't for dark souls 2 i'd try on ps4 to see if it even looks better than BF:BC2 on pc BUt that's not happening

I am kinda surprised this is Console exclusive to PS4, i thought Xbox was the shooter platform and Ps4 gamers is more for good singleplayer games. This must upset lemz a lot i bet.

But guess they just wanted show the best versions of the game and not kill the hype with a xbox version

BF has always sold well on the PlayStation, I know BF4 sales were higher on the PS4 and the online player count always trounces the X1 version.

holy shit this is taking the piss, why are the server browers located in the web brower? that is so backward. it should just be like bad company 2 were we can browse servers through the game. ea sucks

not playing ea games. played bf3 on xbox and it was shit so i stuck to bad company 2 through all these years

Yeah they introduced Battlelog in Bf3 through the web browser

game is garbage. it feels pretty much exactly like bf3 and i hate it, i prefer the more arcadey feel of bad company 2. if u like bf3/bf4 then u will like this. they could have just released this as an expansion for bf4

The gun play is really tight, it feels easier to get a kill than in BF4. But I'm sure that its because its a beta. They tend to screw things up on full release.

My PS4 tells me I have instant access and to download it. It still gives me errors though :/
