COD4 in HD definately isnt a joke, it looks very very nice in some places, in others it looks decent, and i've never seen an area that looked flat out bad.

What are you comparing it to.. crysis. Because other than that it pretty much holds up to anything out there. Stop hating.

I wanted to compare both demos on my PS3 and 360 but there is no demo up for this game on the PS3 so I tried it on 360 and the game looks no better than Frontlines.Ilived

The store was updated slightly late to fit Qore. (US store at least)

Battlefield BC is a weird one, it looks pretty good, although nothing majorly better than BF2 from what i recall, the Enviromental Damage is fun, but it has the age old battlefield problem of almost zero splash dammage, shouldnt have to shoot the guy in the face with an anti tank rocket to kill him, 4ft-10ft away should hurt him enough.

And the Dammage isnt perfect, yeah i can drive a tank through a building now, which is important, but it gets stuck on a plantpot/planter box thing.

Doesnt seam that much of a step up from PC BF2 to me.

Same here..

One thing I did like was the ambient particle effects...the battlefield became smokey and hard to see your field of view..

Frankly that game looks liek a last gen joke in visuals, i could not believe it looked that mediocre, given pics so far looked great

COD4 slaughters those visuals BTW

There are too many texture pop ins and glitches for it to be better. If those were fixed, maybe. Ex: When the army got ambushed and you had to wait next to the creek and bombs were going off on the creek, the smoke just disappeared after a while without any transition.II-FBIsniper-II
