not yet they havent, thats why im telling you, dont be suprised go ahead and get the mind set.
Dammit, I will actually have to get up after sitting on my ass for 20 hours.Drizzt13
Thing is, you can just enter the disc 2 next time you PLAY the game as if you were switching discs to play a different game. Disc swapping theories = Total BS. Unless a game is 4-5 discs then yeah, it's a pain because you might LOOSE the disc or if one disc is not working your whole game is not working.
the reason i claim this is cause i just watched the re5 trailer on XBL in hi def. it has the best graphics to any game to date, there no way it'll fit on 1 dvd. HeHateMe_basicwell even if it is on 2 disks the game will have linear levels, like every other RE title so you'll only have to change the disk when your like half way through the game

Have you even played RE? It does not follow a linear level structure. The most linear Resident Evils were Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 3, and not even those had a level structure. It's always been either one large explorable area, or one seamless set path through a linear game world. It's never been "Mission 1: Start!" though.
After 10 hours of gameplay I'll have to get up off my ass and change the disk. Just so it won't completely **** up my day I'll schedule a tea break and pit stop at the toilet whilst I'm at it, but I'll keep M&M's stuffed in my pockets incase the energy wasted makes me go anorexic.HoobinatorLol!! That's hilarious!!! :P

Bring out the tea n cheese, Earl!
Seriously, even if it is 2 discs, that just gives you time to take a damn break. I actually wish more games had a "Hey I think you should stop playing for five minutes" thing.
Oh noes! RE5, 360 edition is teh flopperz now
d_black
knowing gamespot, they'll probably take a point off the 360 versions score just because of that.
Nah, I don't think so. Maybe, but it wouldn't be a big deal either way.

ROTFL!!! There's a big difference for memory utilized for footage versus running rela-time on an engine. *sigh* Movies take up WAYYYYYYYYYYYY more space.

yeah. I forgot which kid got pwned on WOW. And he said this aboutthe guy that beat'em "who ever this guy is. He is one tough bad @ss!" Then they showed this jerk on my sig playing the game.:lol:Another good episode was "tsst". That's when Cartman gets a nanny from the show Nanny911 to baby sit him. And after she trys to take away his Xbox360. Cartman says, "Don't try to bogart my xbox, b"
An instant classic.
*Figures how to post towards this* I could beall like "Gosh darnit, now I have move 5 feet to continue playing a wonderful game, DARN YOU CAPCOM FOR TRYING TO GET ME ACTIVE!" Or could bring up the countless time I swap discs on various games and point out it doesn't bother me. Perhaps a simple "I don't care" with uppety attitude. Hmm Decisions, decisions. I know, I just go with this. I see.

Night of the living homeless was the best episode so far.
Lemmings i mean sure you only need to waste negligible energy in switching your disks. But as you're doing that, there'll be that thought in your subconsious mind that every ps3 user in the galaxy isrelaxing on his couch. And this thought is always there when your going to play all those upcoming games for the next 4 or more years.zaibutzu
I guess people shouldn't have phones then. When you get up to answer the phone, that thought will always be in your subconcious that people without phones will be relaxing on their couches...

1. All phones require people to get up.
2. All consoles do not require people to get up to swap disks.
3. Therefore comparing phones and consoles = u fail.

Its simple, because Sony said so.....
But really I enjoyed RE4 on my GC and felt the since of accomplishment when it was time to swap the disks. Now that I have the Wii version of the game no swapping is needed and I kinda actually miss it...
Game On....
I find it completely hypocritical how fanboys are going nuts about disk swapping being a problem are the same fanboys who supported titles that relied heavily upon it (MGS, FF anyone?!?!). It was ok to swap when your system was the leading sku was of industry. It was all peachy to be organized and make sure you kept your disks in good condition or you would ruin the set. But this gen, it has become such a nuisance to get up off your lazy asses and change a disk....
Fanboys have went through great lengths of acting like 360 gamers need to swap disks often. This is not 1976 folks where you need a disk to boot, several to play, and one to save so let please stop all the nonsense about a simple swap.
