@BluRayHiDef: graphics aint everything but wiiu got good graphics and it u want to compare it to current gen they are betterthan ps3 and 360 graphics. assassin creed black flag is better than ps3 and 360 and watch dogs on wiiu will be considerable better than ps3 and 360 according to ubisoft
Worst multiplats of last and current gen, never any realistic looking exclusive titles its always colorful fluff as you were playing my little pony, nothing on the horizon comes even close to games such as TW3/DkS2. What is the point of that system? With every generation you buy nintendo's next console to hype a new Zelda that comes three times a decade? Do not compute.
@silversix_: monolith x looks as a better rpg than twitcher 3 as for dark souls 2. i give u that it a very muc anticipated game i am waiting for and will play it on ps3 or 360 since i own the systems. nintendo should talk to fromsoft to port it. the wiiu gamepad will be great for inventory managment.
What's the whole point of this?
I guess to offset the negativity around the Wii U, which had increased 10-fold since the NPD data.
I wouldn't try to make a graphics thread, but if this is all about games then that's okay because Nintendo does have a good line up coming in as long as they don't make anymore delays.

I'm waiting on Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem the most, then Project Cars, X, Watch Dogs and Yoshi Yarn will be added. This is all after I get Super Mario 3D World. I want that game simply because they brought back the Hammer Bros suit!!!

Nice joke. A solo MMO that is probably aiming for end of 2014/early 2015 is better than TW3 LOL.

Yeah I think it's silly that it's focusing on graphics specifically.

sorry to disappoint u the hammer bros suit was never in any mario game. 3d world has the boomerang bros suit.
Point taken. Had no idea Black Flag and those other multiplats were on the WiiU.
Most people just like to assume the worst when it comes to Nintendo without giving facts a chance
The Wii U's graphics are terrible.
No they are not. They are eye catchingly beautiful. Your sense of aesthetics, though, I don't know what to say about that.
Looks like 2 gamecubes strapped together.
It's actually four :P
I own all of the consoles and a higher end PC. The 2 games I am the most excited for are Mario Kart 8 and the new Smash Bros.

Well, since you brought up AC4, is this all wrong?
"Those hoping for the Wii U version to slip somewhere in between the PS3/360 and PS4/XO experience are in for a disappointment though. Ubisoft has created a two-tier product and the Nintendo version is very definitely pegged at the lower level. Native 720p resolution is standard here, and the same in-house post-process anti-aliasing solution is also in effect, delivering similar results to Xbox 360 and PS3. In fact, the only points of difference revolve around slightly reduced texture filtering in some scenes, and a cooler overall colour balance that doesn't quite covey the warm glow of the tropical sun quite as well as the other platforms. Both of these things are small nitpicks though, not harming the overall presentation in any meaningful way."
In terms of the actual shipping product, while image quality is largely a match, performance is a genuine issue, providing an overall experience that comes across as distinctly sub-par when compared against the last-gen releases, let alone the vastly superior PS4 and Xbox One versions.
The Wii U version consistently falls 6-10fps behind the 360 and PS3 releases, resulting in a jerky, often uneven update and a profound, unsatisfying reduction in controller response. Combined with the GamePad's twitchy analogue sticks, the low frame-rate makes frantically running across rooftops and chasing down targets a frustrating affair, the net result being that we'd often have to repeat some missions multiple times - something that wasn't much of a problem on 360, and with no issues at all when playing at 60fps on the PC version of the game."

There are reasons some people want to get a Wii U, but a significant improvement in graphics from last gen is not one of them.
I love my WiiU. I'm a bit disappointed by 3d world though. Perhaps I haven't gotten far enough, but it is way too easy and I haven't found a level I love yet.

It's not all that much better on wiiu, than ps3 and 360. Ac4 is what i'm talking about.

To be fair, people's complaints about the WiiU graphical capabilities was never about how powerful the wiiu is in and of itself, but how powerful it is compared to the other two.
But that's no excuse. I was actually completely unaware those games were on the WiiU

Is that supposed to be impressive? My 4 (almost 5, now. Damn) year old laptop runs multiplat games with better graphics than the 360 and PS3.

Highly doubt that. At least not the latest games at what you are claiming. Now, if you spent a from on a laptop from back then, then yes maybe. However, I hope you did not buy a super expensive laptop.
The Wii U's graphics are terrible.
No they are not.
They are certainly not NextGen level graphics, but some of those games, especially Mario 3D World look freaking amazing.
Dammit Blu, I usually like your posts.

Zelda WW is beautiful as well. Still the best looking game on new generation consoles, imo.

The PS3 and 360 are 7 years old at least...Your point? And your laptop has to be at least 500 $ unless you bought it discounted at some sort of sale. Your point??? My dell inspiron ran Skyrim, DMC, Shogun and tons of other newer games at medium and some at low without any problem, but my PS3 games still ran and looked wayy better.
I still don't see the power.... been seeing much better power on the PC :P not to mention that now that the PS4 and the X1 are out they pretty much wipe the floor with the Wii U in terms of power. But that has nothing to do with the over all result of the console in the end so... good luck sheep.

It was a pretty decent laptop at the time. Would have been like $1600, except that I used my dad's government employee discount from Dell (which is awesome), and got it for about $1100. And I probably wouldn't have spent so much on a laptop, except that I kind of decided to treat myself, using money I got from a car accident settlement (got hit by some drunk bitch).
As for the performance.. yeah. It runs Crysis 2, all three Bioshock games, Far Cry 3, Batman AA/AC, Fallout 3/NV, Skyrim, and just about every other multiplat I've thrown at it. In most cases, they look better and run smoother than the console versions. In the worst cases (Crysis 2 and Metro, in particular), it runs them at settings that look pretty much like the console versions, but still with higher and more steady framerates. The only two multiplats I've tried that it can't run are The Witcher 2, because it's optimized like shit, and Crysis 3, because my laptop doesn't have DX11. If they had made the PC version of Crysis 3 compatible dx9/10, and allowed it to scale back to the level of the console versions, I'm sure it would run about as well as Crysis 2.
