Best Battle Theme In Video Games.

We've had video game OST threads before. Nice to listen to some music. People list stuff, you don't bother checking it out. lol. Seriously though, I want to be a bit more specific.

Battle themes. Stuff that gets you all hyped. Something's going down, and it ain't your mum... Yeah, went off there. Focus. Simple. Greatest battle themes. Or just themes you like. No Metacritic score attached to them.

I'll start, being the TC, and all that:

Probably one of my favorite battle themes. I love it.

Game is brutal. So, is its soundtrack. Rip a man apart. Nobody cares. You're Jackie Esta-fucking-cado.

Juri will mess up your shit. I like the playful, yet devious way this song presents itself, much like Juri.

Now you. I'll try and listen to them. Implying it's a huge effort on my part, but you know... It's how these threads usually go.

Yeah, been listening to that a lot. I just can't get into P3's soundtrack as much.

I'm too hyped from the new Star Wars teaser right now to think properly, but these sprung up to my mind first:

Shiva is my favorite boss in any game, I love his theme, and especially the one in SoR Remake. You know shit is about to go down when this music starts playing.

I also love the boss fight theme against the samurai guy and his clones. Just an epic track.

Akira is my dude in Virtua Fighter, and this is my favorite theme of his.

I also have a lot of love for Shun Di's.

Probably my favorite track in Panzer Dragoon Saga, which is a game filled with amazing music.

I'd link every single track Technosoft ever made if I could. All their music gets my adrenaline going.

Another game in which I love every single track is Virtual On. Dorkas' has one of my favorite themes.

Sonic 3 & Knuckles' has my favorite soundtrack of any video game, period. The epic encounter with Big Arms at the end of Sonic 3 is unforgettable.

@freedomfreak: On the whole, the P3 soundtrack is weaker, but it does have my favorite game musical piece of all time.

Actually, that's what I wanna nominate- The Battle for Everyone's Souls. If you don't mind musical spoilers, look it up.

Paper Mario 2 is definitely a winner.

Great topic, I would have so many to list because I pretty much collect these heart-pumping adrenaline-inducing battle themes, discovering them is one of my favorite aspect of playing videogames. Final Fantasy has great ones for sure, I'm sure Castlevania has several as well (especially SoTN & SC4), and of course there is the Guile theme(lol)....I have too many to list, those are just a few I'm mentioning off hand.....so I'll pick one that comes to mind now that I enjoyed a lot recently, it's from the Mass Effect 3 soundtrack, title is "Rannoch"....posting from tablet so don't know how to post youtube vids like the above sorry

Umm. Did I say I liked only Hell March? My bad. I also liked Quake 2's soundtrack. I used to insert the game CD into my car's CD player and listen to the tunes. Makes me want to floor the pedal.

VIII had so some epic ass music back in its day. It's probably my most played RPG(My first FF game on the PS1 too) and I know the game from like front and back. If that kind of repetition never bores me, just think how I feel about its music. Fucking master piece.

Mmmm Bayonetta soundtrack. Bayonetta 2's soundtrack doesn't come close to reaching B1's OST of greatness.

Many Japanese games have awesome battle tracks. My favorite is one winged angel while fighting sephiroth. Epic. Overall soundtracks I like the mass effect 1 ost and the final fantasy osts in general. As well as Castlevania series and kingdom hearts games. Special mention to persona and fire emblem as well.
