Maybe it was just some publishing quirk, but I noticed yesterday while leafing through the weekly Best Buy flyer that the video game section didn't mention the PS3 at all.

The Xbox 360, Wii and DS all got space -- heck, even PC games got a small shout-out -- but the PS3 was nowhere in sight.

Like I said, maybe it was just a one-week blip, but the PS3 is clearly lagging right now. If major electronics retailers like Best Buy (actually, I think Best Buy might be the only major electronics retailer left) are not even bothering to showcase Sony's console in a 32-page brochure designed to highlight the hottest consumer items, well, Sony can't be happy about that.

Its gotta do with the price

Times are tough and a 400-600 dollar console isnt exactly something thats gonna sell like hot cakes

You should probably put that all in quotes, because you didn't say that. That's just copy-pasted off of that page you linked.

On topic, I noticed this in the flyer itself, I didn't have to read some technology blog to figure it out :P

I've found some good deals in CC, but i'll be damned if I didn't regret going in there to buy something almost every time. It was almost always a crappy experience shopping there. They almost never had what you were looking for, and the people that worked there were absolutely clueless.

Best Buy isn't much better, but the stores seem to be better stocked.

indeed. they always had the best prices, but when the price difference is under $50, i usually rather buy it from a store.

nice! i should get that too, i hate the ps3 triggers.

you actually reminded me that i need to order analog thumbstick covers for my 360 controller. i have worn off the digits on the top of the analog sticks, so my finger kinda slips a bit. the covers are supposed to give good traction... maybe it will help my aiming:D

Why do you have "PS3" in your username when you don't even like it? And it's probably because of price.

There's only on reason why the ps3 didnt show up, M$ most likely paid BEST BUY for the 360 exclusive page in the Best Buy flyer lol.
