Best Call of Duty game?

Mine is Modern Warfare, followed by Blops and MW3.

COD 4, COD 2 and COD 5. Thats it. MW2, BO and MW3 are TERRIBLE GAMES.

In it's time, it was definitely MW. It was actually something new, at least in my experience at that time.

CoD1 is the only one I liked and played a lot. After it went multiplat and brought in regen health, my interest faded.

CoD 2. By far. Modern Warfare was impressive for it's time, but the campaign was too short. CoD 2 has an atmosphere of war that's hardly been done again in a war game since then.

CoD3 definately wasn't the best, but it was easily the most unfairly maligned and underrated.

COD4.

CoD4>2>MW3>BO>COD1>WaW>MW2

The first Call of Duty and United Offensive.

-No regen health

-No unlocks

-No silly perks & killstreaks

Game had an awesome and long (compared to today's standards) singleplayer and a very competitive multiplayer that wasn't about unlocking stuff or utilising killstreaks and perks.

CoD4>2>MW3>BO>COD1>WaW>MW2

I don't agree on the order you put them in but every single COD > MW2 yes.

CoD + United Offensive and CoD 4: Modern Warfare. Maybe CoD 2 aswell, i can't decide on this one..

Rest are sh**t on the wall.

COD 4 on PC is the most CONSISTENT actively played COD game to date.

I think that is a testemant to its worth in the series.

You haven't played many terrible games. Anyway, its a tie between COD 4 and COD 2 for me.

CoD2. That was the last CoD game i really loved.

Modern Warfare 2 is much better than Modern Warfare 3 I don't see why everyones rating MW3 higher than MW2..

Modern Warfare 3 default maps are the worst default maps released on COD so far. None of them are memorable, the recent COD's atleast are memorable..

COD 4 : Shipment, Crossfire, Vacant, Bog, Overgrown, Showdown, Bloc, Ambush, Crash , Pipeline, District

The worst was probably Wet (The map on the boat)

MW2 had Afghan, Skidrow, Terminal, Highrise, Scrapyard, Rust if you knew how to play, Derail..

Black Ops has WMD, Summit, Nuketown, Hotel (Only good DLC Map) , Grid, Firing Range, Radiation

Modern Warfare 3 has no memorable maps, they are poorly set out with too many pathways and they've tried so hard to prevent camping that they have actually increased camping. These small and complicated maps + The horrible spawn system = Madness.

World at War was my favorite. I think Modern Warfare 3 is the next best, then Black Ops. The rest I'm not that into.

If you enjoyed MW2 you'll enjoy it. It's a similar formula, but its executed much better, and the plot was far more cohesive and less set-piece oriented (even though there definitely were some sick ones).

True dat. My buddies and I love passing the controller around and having a go at it, which is much more than I can say about MW2's plain Spec Ops. I still like Zombies more, but they did a great job.

COD4: MW on Veteran difficulty...campaign was absolutely amazing and still is.

Not the one with Treyarch's name on it.
