Best Console 1st Year Lineup (historically)

I'm thinking of X360 lineup.. mainly because of Gears of War, Oblivion, PGR3, GRAW & Kameo (off the top of my head).

also the concept of downloadable arcade games made its first year library a good mix of new & retro games.

what do you think? which other console historically u think is more deserving for 'best first year lineup' title?

Dreamcast hands down.

I would of taken a pot shot with something like the N64 - but I don't know if all the great games were in the first year of not.

Dreamcast had some great games, and seeing as it only seemed to last a year, I am guess the big names were within that time frame.

I still use my dreamcast - its one of the only retro machines that isn't collecting dust

I think the Wii's is pretty good, new Zelda and Mario all out in the first year, plus some other good games, and the VC packed full of retro goodness.

I wasn't into gaming massiveley when any other gen started since when the DC and PS2 came out I was 10/11.
