You guys can already tell that i realy liked the 32/64 bit era of gaming. Nintendo 64 had perfect dark gondeneye, turok, body harvest, and of chorse zelda. ps1 had a lot of games made by square enix and metel geal solid 1
Was the first console I was semi-old enough to understand (older brother, so we had an NES before, but, I was quite young)...
and Shadowrun, Phantasy Star IV, Shining Force, Landstalker, and fond memories of playing against my dad in the sports titles (fyi: he also coached many of my RL sports teams growing up, to kill your stupid "why don't you play real sports" argument, and I still play rugby RL), makes me really enjoy memories of this console.
SNES, Genesis, PS1, N64, all of last gen, 360, Wii. I've enjoyed each and every one of them incredibly. I'd have to pick either SNES or PS1 for their great RPGs along with others great games. PC is just a league of its own with greatness.
Best console? I'd have to say SNES-it had a ton of classic titles released for it, and that SPC700 was really something as far as giving its games some impressive music. However, when you bring computers into the equation, things become a little more complex. The Commodore Amiga line wins the late 1980s hands down, but the various IBM PC clones start to achieve parity by 1990 and manage to become THE gaming computer standard by 1995.
