either nes, ps1, ps2 for me i love Wii too so once development starts to pick up that will deffenitly be up there

Okay, being serious now, I think it would be pretty close between the N64 and SEGA Saturn. Those were the consoles I started gaming with, and both had quite of few of my favorite games on them.

I voted for the "Sega Mastersystem". That's the console that I started my gaming addiction with, and it brings me the best memories and nostalgia. That system had such great titles like :

- The Alex Kidd Series

- The Wonderboy Series

- Phantasy Star

- Double Dragon (two player, take that NES)

- Fantasy Zone Series

- Ghostbusters

- Altered Beast

- Montezuma's Revenge

- Rastan

etc, etc, etc.....

You should all get out there and get yourself a Sega Mastersystem.

Best consoles ever - SNES and PS1, depending on what type of games you prefer

I am surprised at the lack of votes for the PS1. It had the first expansive library of 3D games (except for PC, but we're talking about consoles). It had the first games of many series that we're still playing today. Most games that are being developed now are just enhanced versions of the first gen of 3D games, most of which were on PS1.

Also, I believe that it has the largest library of games (not talking about how PS2/3 are backwards compatible).
