None, really, I've owned the best.Panzer_Zwei
We're talking about consoles that you NEVER owned, so unless you have every single console, there must be one.
For all we know, someone might have owned every single console except the Atari 2600, Virtual Boy, and 3DO. :o
None, really, I've owned the best.Panzer_ZweiIsn't there even a "best of the rest?" I mean, you haven't owned every console, right? The question was the best one you haven't owned, not if you owned the best systems. I'm not trying to be nitpicky here, I just want to know. Sorry if I'm sounding a bit close-minded.
SNES here. I know the Genesis was good too, but I didn't really get the good games for it (besides Sonic).
The GC had so many good games. I dont understand why everyone is allways bashing it.web966
nothing really.. i owned a GC+PS2 last gen, this gen Wii only.. but im getting a PS3 later.. I had all the previous nintendo consoles, plus sega genesis... if anything, i missed out on xbox?

The thing is I've owned:Well I guess it has to be one of the Sega consoles, but since I've played most of the genesis quality titles there isn'treally a reason for me to own one. Most of the games were one time play troughs.
Perhaps Dreamcast, yet it doesn't have anygames above "great" games in my eyes that's impossible to find on another platform at this time.

The thing is I've owned:Those are all the consoles I would consider "the best" unless you think the Jaguar, 3DO, CD-I etc. qualify, which I don't.
So in other words, you've owned just about every console that people would consider worth owning.
Guess you're going to have to go with a handheld, one of the current-gen consoles (pretty sure you own a 360 though), or choose the best of the worst that you never owned.
The best of the worst would be the 3DO :? the system I wanted but never got was a MSX, but it's not a console, and when I was going to get one, I learned there are so many versions of it, with many compatibility issues, that I thought it just wasn't worth it.So in other words, you've owned just about every console that people would consider worth owning.

As for Handhelds, I never owned a GameGear or any version of the GameBoy until the DS, nor Wondersawn, Lynx, TurboExpress etc. the only Handhelds I've owned are a Nomad, Neo*Geo Pocket Color and a DS.
I missed out on both the Dreamcast and the SNES, though I did own a Comoddore 64, which had Speedball 2.Sagacious_TienDid you just say Speedball 2? "Ice cream! Ice cream!" No, I owned neither the C64 nor the Amiga, or anything else that wasn't some sort of deriative of the IBM PC. (Partly because I was born in 1990, around the time when PCs stopped sucking for gaming purposes.) I never even played Speedball 2 until recently, thanks to emulation and the Internet. But, you have to give credit to the C64 and the Amiga for being well ahead of their time, no matter what computer you grew up with.
I own so little, I hate it:
NES
Game Boy
Game Boy Advance
N64
Playstation 2
I'd say the SNES. I do plan to own the PS3 soon.

There were many great Computer games before 1990...Heck I still miss my old online text game Solar Realms...I also miss Sega's Zaxxon
Ah, guess I better contribute. I've owned only an SNES, N64, Gamecube, Xbox, Wii, and 360 in addition to a Gameboy Color and Gameboy Advance. Clearly you can see that I haven't been gaming for as long as some people. Being 16 years old as of May 31, 2007 certainly has something to do with that.
I would choose the PS2 since I know it's library much better than any other console I don't own.
What was a console that got alot of praise but you never got around to owning? I have never owned a SNES or PS2, so I missed out on classics like Super Metroid, Chrono Trigger,God of War,and Okami. I cant wait to play Super Metroid on the VC monday! :Dweb966
Damn that sucks.
I've only missed out on great games. I've had the consoles. just never played the games.
