Best Co-op games of all time?

I've been itching for some good co-op play, but I'm having trouble finding good co-op games.

So far my favorite co-op games are:

Halo: CE (Xbox)

Zelda : Link to the Past : Four Swords Adventure (GBA)

Power Stone 2 (DC)

Mario Kart DS (DS)

Mugen (PC)

Battletoads Double Dragon (SNES)

Please, anyone know of any other good co-op games? Thanks!

*EDIT* Looking mostly for a DS game right now, but still suggest anything on your mind.

Halo CE hands down.

Operation Flashpoint.

Insanely good map and script editor that allowed for 1000's of Coop maps...32 player Coop too.

the splinter cell games have an amazing co op modesuitmypants

only splinter cell chaos thoery had coop which was like 4 missions long lol anyways Gears of War is good coop game, also Army of Two is decent and some old games like TMNT etc etc

What about Nanostray 2? Or Age of Empires II? I haven't played, either, but I think they are fun co-op games.

Oh, three awesome multiplayer games for DS are the following: Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Pokemon Diamond/Pearl, and Metroid Prime: Hunters. But they aren't co-op.

You could try Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance I or II on consoles if you really wanted to.

Thanks I'll look those up, I've heard of every game you just mentioned, but never played (except Phantom Hourglass). I like co-op because me and my friend get cranky when we play against each other. You think 21 year olds would be more mature, lol.

Err... Gears of War, Chaos Theory and perhaps Halo..

I don't play much co-op.

Halo was pretty ahead of its time for something like that, so it was quite an achievement.

Gears is also pretty nice.
