Current generation is Wii, 360 and PS3. Xbox, Gamecube, PS2, and Dreamcast were last generation. To answer the topic, I owned them all and enjoyed the Gamecube most.

Gamecube actually is still being made. Kaplan's announcement was proven fake.

even the PS2 counts as 'last gen' now the PS3 is out. EDIT: And besides, what upcoming games does the PS2 have left?
The PS2, it kicked @$# in sales and was the most popular around the world. Also, its not discontinued yet and there are games still coming out for it unlike the Xbox and Gamecube. This generation Sony won't be on top if they don't get their act together, maybe losing out to the Wii for awhile will wake them up.
