Just curious. I have never had a console problem. As a matter of fact, I just recently got rid of my PS2 that I bought when they first came out. Never an issue.
But IF I DID have an issue...who would be the best help?

Microsoft for me. Every interaction has been good and adding a 3 year warranty against red ring of death is good cs. Sony, Nintendo may be good, but I haven't had a lot of experience with them.
Only ever dealt with MS customer service, and whilst great overall (got a 360 to me in just under 3 business days) I find cancelling services to be a chooooooooooooooore. Also, them finding my address (as the online cust. support doesn't work for some reason for me) is a pain in the butt.
How come nobody mentioned Nintendo's customer service? Nintendo has the best customer service out of the three, and here's proof.
Ah, last time i called nintendo because my wii broke back in 07, (i know this never happens) I got on the phone with a person who barely speaked english. How come nobody mentioned Nintendo's customer service? Nintendo has the best customer service out of the three, and here's proof.

That's not really a downside for one CS in particular. Many companies have call centres located in different countries and/or hire people of different culture and ethnicity. I've spoken to many people with a heavy accent with MS.
microsoft's was pretty good, then again the have to be with the amount of 360 failures.
nintendo's was garbage, they wiped all my saves (including any game I bought on wiiware/vc) when I sent my console in and refused to give me a refund on the 40 bucks I had spent on them when my wii broke. The only good thing they DID do was give me a free classic controller.
I have had to call both Sony and Microsoft for customer service, but it's hard to say which was the best because both were very friendly and polite. The problem wasn't the people on the phone, but the policies of the companies which they have to abide by.
I've had two 360s RROD, and both were repaired for free quickly and painlessly. When my wireless adapter stopped working they were far more hesitant to offer any assistance at all however, even telling me i should find a friend or relative with a 360 and test it on theirs to make extra sure it's definitely broken and then call them back. I thought that was a little outrageous to be honest.
Sony's customer service was perfectly polite, but again their policies just stink. I bought a PSP while on vacation, and one day they released a firmware update which bricked it. I called them up and they refused to do anything about it basically, saying because it wasn't purchased in my country of origin the warranty is void. I explained that it's a region-free handheld and that that policy makes no sense. They said they would fix it for me but wanted me to pay £100 for a repair fee. I eventually had to threaten them with legal action because it was their firmware update which broke it, at which point they sent me a new one.
I got a RROD once, microsoft was polite and fixed it for free
my PSP stopped reading UMD's, sony was also polite but they wanted 100 euro for the fix.
ied say ms. they fix your 360 for free for 3 years. my friend had to pay 100 and some to get his wii fixed. and i woulda had to pay 170 to get my ps3 fixed.
Nintendo replaced my Wii for free even though it was 3 months out of warranty. It pays to register all your games.
Sony has some stupid people and so does MS and i happened to get those people each time i called
ME: "yes miss? my screen froze and i cant do anything past the login screen"
sony: "well sir, can you get to the system setting?"
me: no ma am i cant even get out of the login screen"
sony: "ok sir i have to do some research brb.......... ok sir i need you to get to the system settings
i hung up...
then at MS i had to argue with the sutomer service guy cause i wanted to get rid of $7 month to month and he said "why dont you just keep it, its worth it sir"
and that went one for a good 30 mins.
