Who has the best display? So far it was xbox, now since the new update came through it's now worse then ever. while the subtle blue screen was less stressing on your tv now you have a white image that consumes more energy thanks to absurd kinect, No Microsoft who has paying members does not care if it gives people the choice to change the out line of the consoles dash board while retaining it's xbox theme. PlayStation 3 lets you change it 5 ways to Sunday very advanced menu templated due linux, while it has less to offer then xbox but is the clear winner when it comes to a dash board menu. While wii is not so good as display menu but so far is better then xboxs menu. oh the ironic dilemma, tho either of these consoles "wii" or PlayStation are the real deal when it comes to games and content, but are the clear winner when it comes to dash board menus, while you come home from work, school uni you will be welcomed by a forceful white screen that will make you go blind, you have no choice no say on changing your dash board biggest mistake Microsoft made the ability not to have some color option on the new dash board display Will this make people angry that they can customise their pc apple phone, car, well you get the idea, but not the xbox wow im mortified
PS3, no question. Everything is nicely organized and it looks more professional. I'd like for a little bit more customization, though. 360s dashboard is a joke. I feel like I'm walking into Toys R Us everytime I turn on the console.
The Wii has the best with its channels in my opinion, if it was in HD form it would be a lot more popular here I would imagine. The PS3 one is functional but nothing special and I prefered the xbox one when they still had blades (although I still prefered Wii's channels even with the 360's themes).

That's pushing it. It really isn't that big of a deal, is it? I still haven't seen the new xbox dash. Is the update necessary? I haven't played Reach in a few days.
Well yeah it's worse then ever, it's like saying: you walk out side and see your car color is red, next day it's pink while still retaining it's design would you drive it to work while pink? what im annoyed about is how it's forced apon you, most would say it's ok, "COME ON PEOPLE" it's like saying would you like to have no choice or say. :(

The 360 dashboard is confusing... On my first time playing it, I needed help from others to go through it. The PS3 is easy XMB rocks, its organized and everything's right there. Wii is easy to access, whether you game or not.
the wiis. its quicker and easier to get at the games and other programs using the wiis system. it uses the pointer very well. nice little touches like the headliines on the news channel and the weather on the weather channel are also nice. no need to click em..they just pop up. getting at the guts of the system (the settings, memory management and so on) is a bit more of a faff than it needs to be but the most important things (the games) are right there ready to play in 2 clicks. i hate the background jingle on the wii though while on the main screen.
the wii is just simple easy to get to compare to the others and i got the xbox360 myself. not sure how ps3 is anymore but the wii is the easist to get to. 360 not bad forgot how ps3 is.
I love the customisation on the PS3 XMB - at the moment I have the dynamic theme with the planets spinning round but I do change often.
LOL at the Xbox dashboard looking like ToysRUs - I've never noticed, but now you mention it...I'll have to get my son to get the update tonight so I can see what the new dashboard is like.
I've never really liked the Wii's interface...dunno why, I just think it looks a bit cheap. I think maybe it's because you have a load of empty boxes - maybe a proper desktop would look better.

If you meant the new random icons in random sections then I guess I sort of agree somewhat. So yeah, what do you mean exactly?

IDK how can there be a challenge, XMB (PS3 dashboard) is like pacman, you get your hands on it and in 1/4 sec you know how it works, going back and forward between images, music, video it just takes an eye blink. And a little off topic, my 60GB early model (fat) PS3 can go trough pictures faster than my windows 7 pc (specs on sig) not to mention i compare pics from a memory card on the PS3 vs hdd on the PC...
The new 360 dash is smexy, I don't know why people say it's unorganized because I don't see how it could get anymore organized than it already is, it's perfect!
I prefer PS3 because it's elegant and well organized. The Xbox's looks nice, but it's cluttered and sometimes hard to find things.

Did you get the new update? It's much more organized and quicker to navigate around now.
I'm actually leaving work in 10 minutes and will download it when I get home. I'm hoping it will be better, but alot of people here on SW don't seem too pleased.
