hey, i just wanted know what you guys think is the best franchise, feel free to post games that i didnt put

in the poll, i left  out borderlands, bioshock, goldeneye, perfect dark, omg they didnt fit in the poll but my

god they are good, my personal favorite campaign is half life 2 and my favorite multiplayer must be

between halo 3, medal of honor allied assault and team fortress 2, hard to pick for me this games brings me

good memories, now i want to read what you guys think?

Call of Duty 2 for the Xbox 360.

If we're talking online shooter it's easily Halo 3 for me, it was the best balanced, most polished online shooter I've played. And it required a lot of skill to be good. And you just got the feeling that Bungie poured a lot of love into the game and really were trying, which I don't get with CoD. A lot of people say it's not as good as Halo 2, but I beg to differ, there was less auto aim in Halo 3, and the weapons were much better balanced, plus there were a lot more game modes.

Of course everyone will pick CoD 4, but a lot of them forget CoD 4 had some serious problems in it's day, the noobtube was overpowered, people only used M16s and MP5s, and how can anyone forget martydom? Still was a great game, and I thoroughly enjoyed it, probsbly be second on my list.

Yeah, I was going to say something earlier.  By the time 007 came out my interest in the genre was already dwindling.  I mean technically its old school... but not really.  :P

Excellent choice! I really hope Epic make another UT that returns to this game's roots.

Aside from UT2004, I'm a huge fan of Crysis and Half-Life 2 for singleplayer (for almost the exact opposite reasons as well). Far Cry 3 is also pretty sweet if we want to talk newer games.

My #1 choice has to be TF2 though. It's really fricken good.
