Turok is a FPS, at least Turok 1, 2 and 3. I Haven't played the last one._TheJoker_I would consider the first 3 FPA as you can backtrack and solve puzzles like in Metroid. Turok Rage Wars was a serious FPS game (Great for parties, too bad online wasn't on consoles yet) and Turok Evolutions was more of a traditional FPS. I'm looking forward to the new Turok rumored for 360 and PS3.
Half-life 2: I couldn't stop playing until I beat the game, it sucks you in that well
Unreal Tournament series: Probably the best multiplayer FPS with the best mods.

Am I the only one who just doesnt get why metroid prime is so popular? I mena its a good game, but its not a favorite of mine.Film-GuyThe thing I like most about MP is not just the action, but the entire environment of the game. The action is fun, and most certainly need in a game of its type, and keeps you interested. There are also puzzles, bosses, hidden items, etc. to keep you playing though. There aren't too many bosses much better than those found in Metroid games. Also, though this may not be true for most people, I like to turn the hint system off and try to explore the game instead of going from one place to another with out diverging from the critical path. I just find games where exploration is key a lot of fun. (Hence why I also like Castlevania)

I recently went back and played it, and the coolest thing happened. I was in the Space Pirate labs, and I released a metroid to feed upon them and suck out their souls :P. Funny thing is, it never attacked me. When all the pirated were dead, it just floated around screeching... I miss him... *looks to the stars* ...where ever he is....
