i love hl because its the first fps ive everplayed, and likewise, ever beaten

my love for that game is even more so since my brother wouldn't let me use cheats

please, dont say hl2, that game is sooo overrated in my, and hopefully, most shooter veterans mind

now i played halo 1 for the first time in 2005, and thought it was pretty good, not as bad as yall think it is, halo 1 at least

i loved hl 1 story a lot cuz it was so vague, yet intriguing

i loved being able to watch the story in actual gplay, it made it more unique

and i loved how difficult the game was, and the intensity thrilled my young mind

please, dont say hl2, that game is sooo overrated in my, and hopefully, most shooter veterans mind

I didn't like HL at all, boring boring game

and I know "I'm A noob" for thinking that but  really dont care 

IMO Halo:CE kills hl1

but HL2 kills Halo2 (sp)

Best FPS of all time because of what it did for the industry?

- DOOM: it started it all

- Quake: began the 3D revolution

- Half Life 1: storyline+shooter was now a viable option

- Unreal Tournament: made online FPS teh awesome!

- Deus Ex: hybrid PFS with many clones to follow

Best FPS for me?

- Probably Unreal Tournament

 I would have to say that the best single player for a fps is HF1. I guess i just didnt play that many good signle player fps's and I think that HL1 > HL2 anyday single player.

The best online is a tie between of MOH:AA, CS 1.6 and CoD
