Best = PC. By far. My favorite is the wii. I have both, and I love it.

There isn't a "best" option, it really comes down to what you want to play.

1 - 360 - biggest and best lineup

2 - PS3 - good exclusives + bluray player

3 - Wii - good exclusives

I'd base it off what kind of games you like. The Wii offer motion control. If you like adventure games and platformers its good for you. Also, if you want an excellent line up of retro games, ranging from world famous titles like Super Mario Bros, to games from obscure consoles such as the NeoGeo, its right up your alley. It also has a fair amount of utility such as the news channels. Downsides are its inferior graphic capabilities. You don't have to pay for internet access, but typically you can only use the full force of online multiplayer if you know who your up against. The PS3 has one of the best RPG selections out their as well as a blue ray player. The graphics are some of the best out there in my opinion, and unlike the 360, you don't need to pay to go online. I don't follow the 360 lineup, but I've made the conjecture that it specializes in shooters. You get Halo (enough of a title in its self to merit as a possible reason to buy it). Unfortunitly, you have to pay for XBox live.

The 360 would be the best console has most amount of high quality games out of all consoles. I own a pc so the appeal of the 360 is greatly dampened for me as alot of the great games l4d2,mass effect 2, and splinter cell conviction are shared on pc so when comparing the ps3 exclusives to 360 there are more that interest me on the ps3.

'Best' I could not say. It really depends on your taste, and from the consoles I own, I couldn't choose a favourite in terms of quality. I'm very fond of my Wii, though, and it seems as if, before the end of this gen, the Wii will break my personal record of most games owned for one system. I currently have 21 games for it, and the most I have is 30 games for the Nintendo 64, followed by 25 for the original Xbox. I really love a lot of games that appeared on it, and I already have a lot of games in mind that I would like to get eventually.

Totally depends on what kind of games you like, wether you'll be playing online a lot or not much, wether you would like a Blu-Ray player or not, you know.

What I've heard a few people say is the XBOX 360 has the biggest lineup....some of them even incorporate best line up in that same sentence.

It's not quite genuine because while the XBOX 360 does have a bigger line up than the PS3, what is not being considered is alot of those games are "old" games.

Is there anything wrong with old games, no...but alot of the newer AAA Quality titles released in 2008-2010....well, lets just say PS3 has matched XBOX 360's line up and in fact, has surpassed it with AAA quality titles released in 2009-2010.

What this "should be fact" is indicating, is that the PS3 has geared up, while the XBOX 360 has winded down.

Both systems have good games, but only 1 of those systems will have a longer "top end" console life span, and imo, this should be a factor when buying a first console system, especially mid to late life cycle.
