I will have to say other, the metroid games. Allmost all the metroid games have been aaa caliber games and have been around for 20 years. Now where is my new 2d metroid.
Before the betrayal it used to be FF, now its just another multiplat with absolutely no value to me. I was left without any option to choose from now, if I had to forcefully, I'd say either starcraft or xenosagaTheOldOlderThat's sad that you would let something so trivial as that get in the way of your enjoyment of a great series.

Xenosaga remains entirely pure, nobody without a Ps1 or Ps2 can enjoy those games as they are exclusives.
Argh... except for the ds ports but well, that port failed and they never brought it overseas

If you really loved the series, and thought that it was the greatest of all time, you would be happy that more people get to experience it.

FF are also on DS and orignally started on a Nintendo console.
MGS is my favorite, but a platforming fiend and an old school head will tell you that Mario dominates the rest, even though he only has 4 classics just like MGS (Mario 1, 3, 64, Galaxy).angry_fork
What?!?! It is a known fact that Super Mario Worldis also a classic, and many would argue that Super Mario RPG is a classic as well. Mario 2 and Sunshine, not so much.

Sharing the main installments with another console is wrong, I'll just play valkyria chronicles and whatever Level 5 comes up with, thanks

Super Paper Mario was pretty sweet too.
no offense TC but what kind of thread is this without Pokemon or Final Fantasy? but metal gear solid is awesome even though 4 was my first one.

That, plus the series didn't originate on PS1 so I don't know how it bothers the other poster so much.

I agree. I'd say Super Mario World is the best in the series followed by SMRPG.Half life, God of war, Devil may cry, resdient evil. gears is pretty good also. assassins creed, mass effect will soon join.....
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Yes, there's only two games in it, but those are the two best games ever.
