Best Game of Game of the Year?

After tired with Demon Souls vs. Everything, I think it's better if we make thread Demon's Souls vs Another GOTY

Which Gamespot GOTY do you think is the best?

I'd choose SMG 2 as GOTY 2010 because that's the only game that scored 10 this year, although this year haven't finished

Personally, I think MGS 4 is still the best game this generation.

Although GeOW, SMG 1&2, and DS all are very good games, they all have the same weakness: the story

We all knew Super Mario Galaxy 1&2 and Gears 1 had no story, and although I think DS had a story, that's quite average

Meanwhile, MGS 4 is having a superb story with cinematic experience, making it definitely the best game this generation

Gears of War made the largest impact on me, and i'll remember for longest.

MGS4 was a huge dissapointment in every way shape and form.

Mario Galaxy isn't my type of game.

Demons Souls was beyond excellent, but the lack of memorable story and characters hurts it, since it's an RPG and all.

Gears 1 will always have a special place in my heart :P

I'm gonna refrain from saying Demon's Souls,because the front page is flooded with that game.

People that want to continue the,oh so enjoyable fad,please don't.

Yeah, scores are not really that relevant.

Gears shouldn't have been GOTY. Company of Heroes should have won that year. biggest_loser

SMG2 shouldnt be on there. Just because it got a 10 doesn't guarantee it GOTY (UC2=9.5 and Demons souls=9.0). RDR probably has a better shot than SMG2. I would vote Gears 1 because it was the first game to let us know we are not in kansas any more.

The best game out of those is by far Mario Galaxy 2, but it´s no GOTY yet

Gears of War amazed me when it was first released, still has a special place in my collection.

None of the above when measured against the most well deserved GOTY award...... Kotor. 8)

lulz, demon souls, the game that has it's position because everyone is too afraid if they call it out for the poorly designed game that it is they will lose their coveted title as "teh hardcore".

Even though i realize that the nominations are GOTY,I feel that U2 should replace Demon Souls.
