That is if Final Fantasy XII counts, if not then Oblivion, closely followed by Zelda TP.

** I have not played Zelda on Wii since I beat it on Gamecube.

It has to be Elder Scrolls... such an innovative game.
I have long thought GeOW to be overated.

I would say ninja gaiden sigma cause NG is my second favorite game ever but its a remake so that probably doesn't count.

I actually preferred Oblivion. I wasn't a huge fan of the leveled system but the combat in Morrowind.... Ugh. Can anyone say "whiff?"

a real next gen game is prolly Dead Rising.

Oblivion, definitely, but Dead Rising comes surprisingly close for me. Oblivion has a wide open world that is incredibly fun to explore for hours and hours, but Dead Rising has extremely suspenseful gameplay with some excellent graphics to go along with. I really don't think people give Dead Rising enough credit, it's one of the best next-gen experiences I've had so far.

I agree, Dead Rising is one of my favorite games of all time.

I'd say Pokemon Diamond/Pearl if it counts.

If not, then its easily Oblivion for now, that might change once Crysis/Bioshock/SSBB comes out.

Call of duty 3 no doubt, up to 24 players, fast paced, no wait to jump on a game online, use of vehicules, lots of great maps...It gaves you lots of different gameplay options...scouts, medic, machine gun etc ( of course i'm talking about strictly online which matters most for me and the 360 version, apperently the ps3 as bunch of framerate issues )
