Best game this year?

I'm wondering, what do you think will be the best scoring game this year on GAMERANKINGS.

Now, you might say 'but teh gamespot rulez!' the simple fact is Gamespot will give many 9.5s to many different games, and I honestly doubt a 10 is coming this year so the only way to find the tiny differences would be gamerankings :)

I'm rooting for Fallout 3 as the best game this year :D

Including games that are already out, I'd say Brawl will keep the top spot with its consistent 94-96% average.

altough im still hoping too human will be pretty high up on the list

I think fallout 3 is going to face a backlash from its diehard fans and might get mixed reviews. I enjoyed Oblivion but it was so flawed in hindsight, I hope they've learned their lessons.

GTA IV will be a hard one to beat, I reckon it'll be #1

LBP is going ot be one of those games you get or don't and I think its reviews could run a whole gamut of scores

GEOW2, fool us once shame on you, fool us a second time shame on us. First one was a good game but not as great as was initially hyped, I think the 2nd one will struggle big time to replicate its scores.

Spore, my most hyped game for the last 2 yrs but I starting to get a little twitchy about how this will turn out .... good please let it be good

Starcraft 2, man while this type of strategy (real-time resource based) isn't necessarily my first choice of game, can anyone honestly believe this will not score right up there?

I think its a straight shoot out between Starcraft 2 and GTA, with Starcraft winning by a nose.

EDIT: can I just add Empire Total War to that list if its out in 08. I love the total war franchise.
