[QUOTE="Johnny-n-Roger"]l[QUOTE="SMGalaxyRulez"] Have your say on the greatest games ever. Here's what methinks
Best Platformer Ever: Super Mario Galaxy (Wii, 2007)
Best Action Adventure Ever: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (1998, N64)
Best RPG Ever: Chrono Trigger (1995, SNES)
Best Shooter Ever: Metroid Prime (2002, GC)
Best Fighter Ever: Super Smash Bros Brawl (2008, Wii)
Best Racer Ever: TIE BREAKER! Either Mario Kart 64 (N64, 1997) or Mario Kart Wii (2008, Wii)
Best Horror Ever: Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition (Wii, 2007)
Best Puzzler Ever: Proffesor Layton and the Curious Village (2008, NDS)
 I can't help but notice a bias here. Also, no offense, but if you think these are the best games of all time, you haven't been gaming that long.
Best Platformer Ever: SMB3? SM: World? I doubt that 10 years from now Galaxy will be held in as high regards as either of these side-scrollers.
Best Action Adventure Ever: You're probably right here. I'll give you that one.
Best RPG Ever: FFIV? FFVI? FFVII? Many would disagree with placing Chrono Trigger over these titles.
Best Shooter Ever: Metroid Prime (or any other metroid title for that matter) is NOT a shooter. There are way too many adventure aspects to this series to consider it a shooter.
Best Fighter Ever: It's hard to consider the best fighter of all time a franchise that was never rooted to the Arcades.
Best Racer Ever: I would put the original Mario Kart over either of the titles you listed, though neither of them would take the crown. I would put Gran Turismo (PSX) over a cart racing game.
Best Survival Horror Ever: This is debatable. Many fans of this genre would argue that RE4 is too action oriented and would prefer RE1 or RE2 and their adventure elements.
Best Puzzler : Tetris. This one's a given.
I find it childish of you to insult his list, and say he "hasn't been gaming that long." He has a few retro games there, but for the most part, newer games are better, in my opinion. Is it his fault that he likes Super Mario Galaxy more than Super Mario World? Why does he have to choose games over decade old games in order for his list to be good? What's wrong with like newer games more?
