I put together 20 games I thought needed a bit more attention last year. Let me know what you all think:

That was a screenshot of Tales of Graces under Tales of the Abyss, just fyi.
But the best game that nobody played this year is Sonic Generations. Everyone has become too pessimistic about Sonic, so they're are just ignoring his games now. But Sonic Generations is great! Sonic has finally made a comeback! People need to try that game.

I like Sonic as much as the next guy, but it takes more than one decent game to make a comeback.

It's definately better than Heroes, but that came out in 2004.
For six years, Sonic fans had to put up with crappy Sonic games until Colors came out in 2010. Sega has a lot to makeup for. Two good Sonic games ain't gonna cut it. :P

Plus 4 was hyped to be the biggest comeback. It failed, Colours was alright but was limited by console,, so he almost never made any recovery from 06 and those on rails games at all. Not to mention he's teaming up with mario in another crappy olympic gammes game.[QUOTE="Arach666"]

And Sonic Unleashed, and Sonic 4. So that makes 4. Sonic Unleashed is what sparked Sonic's comeback. Sonic Colors and Sonic Generations employ the same gameplay mechanics that Sonic Unleashed introduced. I assume Sega will continue to make Sonic games using this engine that people seem to like.
It's safe to say that Sonic is relevant again.
Personally, I never thought Sonic was irrelevant though, I liked Sonic and the Black Knight and Sonic 06. But in the mind of the masses, those games sucked. I don't quite understand why though.
Here are some more good "games no one played" (or rather, very few have played) this year:
Bastion
Catherine
Child of Eden
El-Shaddai
Radiant Historia
Shadows of the Damned
Sonic Generations
Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together
The 3rd Birthday
To the Moon
Xenoblade Chronicles
Yakuza 4
The most amazing part of that article is when they say Radiant Silvergun was only released on 360 and then follow it with
"Radiant Silvergun is thoughtfully-designed action game that stands as one the top shoot-'em-ups of all time and is now available as a download on XBL and PSN. Get it."
I thought Catherine was more popular than usual :o But if that counts as a game that "nobody played", then I pick that :PEponique
Yeah Cathrine sold quite well and made Atlus some monies. Bastion also was a fairly good seller.
Wow, many of those were very popular? But yeah some are too overlooked.I put together 20 games I thought needed a bit more attention last year. Let me know what you all think:

Not just the masses, sane Sonic fans too. Everything from Adventure 2 was utter trash up to Colors, and that's being nice considering how high the bar was set with Sonic 3 & Knuckles. Even the Adventure games suffered from lackluster controls, horrible camera angles, and annoying friend missions. Then when you look at how much worse the games became afterwards, the complaints are well justified. That, and how any person can even begin to think Sonic '06 was decent is beyond me.
And if someone has numbers, last time I looked it up, Generations sold a combined 1 mil on consoles. So if you include PC sales, and the long legs Sonic games tend to have, that's pretty good. I don't think you can include it on a list consisting of games nobody played.

Sonic 06 is an enjoyable game as long as you don't suck at it.
Hahaha, that's rich.
