Best games of each genre.

Im gonna be completely fair on this one.

Plataform: Mario games

RPG: Final Fantasy ( Dont separate JRPG from WRPG, lets just keep it RPG )

FPS: Modern Warfare

TPS: Uncharted

Action Adventure: Zelda games

Racing: Gran Turismo

Figthing: Tekken

Survival Horror: Sillent hill or Resident Evil (ps1 days)

MMORPG: World of warcraft

Strategy games: I dunno, not much into the genre, but by popularity Starcraft maybe?

Sport: Very subjective, depends on the sport, But FIFA is the best selling sport franchise so ill say FIFA.

Am i missing any genre?

Im not a big fan of many games up there, but if i were to choose based on popularity, sales, fanbase, and quality overrall, i think those would be my choices.

Platforming: Ratchet and Clank

RPG: Fallout 3

FPS: Team Fortress 2

TPS: Uncharted

Action Adventure: Dark Sector

Racing: GRID

Figthing: Soul Calibur

Survival Horror: Resident Evil

MMORPG: WoW

Strategy games: Command And Conquer

Sport: FIFA '10

I don't agree that Gran Turismo is the best racing game anymore, due to how the genre has evolved and Gran Turismo hasn't put out a new addition to the series this generation. I would say Forza or Burnout has that title (depending if we are talking about Sim or Arcade). Also, I would say Street Fighter IV is a better fighter than Tekken. And my personal favourite Strategy game is Company of Heroes, but that may be just me :P Everything else I pretty much agree with

FPS: Halo1, 3, Half Life 2 and BF BC

Racing: forza series

Figthing: Street Fighter 2 and 4

Survival Horror: Resident Evil Code Veronica and alone in the Dark The New Nightmare

It can kind of be counted as both. I'd say the story is action/adventure, while the MP is TPS. It clashes with other action/adventure games that aren't very similar at all. I considered Ninja Gaiden an action adventure but those games are similar at all
