gamers grew up with the playstation controler and were wowed by DS2, sixaxis was good but d3 brought every element of a control and brought it into one
old feel, sixaxis, vibrate, no batteries
WiiMote=360>Ds3>SixAxis imo.
But Wii-Mote can be easily the worst, it just depends on how motion sensing is used.
Wii should be winning this by a landslide.EG101
Well but it isnt, lets see which one is peoples favorite.
The Xbox 360 controller. It would be (near) perfect if they fixed the d-pad.Doom_HellKnight
I like it how it is. If they "fixed" it, it would probably be alot like the ps3 controller, and i don't want that. Unless you mean how the buttons respond then i could understand that.

yep its like going to a fat camp with pie cake and exercise regiments and asking what is better for them
My favorite controller was the PS2 Dualshock 2 controller. I wish Sony could have just made that but wireless for the PS3, but instead they added triggers to it, which on the Dualshock stlye controller, doesn't work well with me. This generation however I like the X360 controller the best, it's the most comfortable and holds the longest charge. The Wii remote is in dead last, it's charge doesn't last very long, it's uncomfortable, especially when you just want to relax, since you have to move it around so much. So for me it goes....
PS2 controller > X360 controller > PS3 controller > Wii remote.
By the way, I own all three consoles.

I disagree about the "Triggers"
It helps with games like Motocross and Burnout Paradise when it comes to using them as gas pedals. I'm sure other games could take advantage of the higher pressure sensitivity it provides.
PS3: Shoulder buttons feel cheap and my fingers slip sometimes; Analog sticks are a bit too close; Not good for shooters; D-Pad are perfect; Fits hand perfectly; Feels a bit cheap because of it's weight.
360: Shoulder buttons are just right; Analog sticks are in the right place; Fits hands perfectly and very comfortable; Decent weight. D-pad needs to be changed.
Wii: Needs more buttons! But other than that, it's ok.
Overall, I like the 360 the most because of those reasons. The PS3 is a very close second.
I'll never understand the attraction to the PS controllers. They were laughed at when they came out and they have never been comfortable in my opinion. I would even go so far as to say I hate them. But I understand that a lot of you young folks grew up with them and thats what you like. I put my vote in for the 360, although I am trying to get used to the Wii mote.deathtoallgods
Don't make it sound like having a 360 makes you mature.
I've been console gaming since the NES, before that I had a Joystick on my Apple II GS.
I still like the DS3 best, if "what I grew up with" is somehow related.

I don't remember mentioning you specifically, but ok. I am not "mature". I post on a gaming forum. But I will say that I have been around long enough to see all of the controllers and I have a strong opinion against the PS one. If that hurts your feelings, sorry. Please Log In to post.
