There's no way it's sold more than that over here.5.5 million total?
C'mon, this site is a joke. Even the biggest 360 hater can admit it has sold more units than that.

Xbox 360 was launch worldwide, also sales in Japan were awful. Especially the first three months. ps3 has'nt been launch in Europe yet. Biggest pwn ever!!!!!So what does Europe have to do with anything. Your chart shows sales in America only.
pwnt
But if you want to go by VGCharts, at the end of March 06 the 360 had sold 3.2 mil worldwide. We'll see how PS3 looks at the end of next month.

It is just NA numbers, I think, because PS3 is also more than 1 million.5.5 million total?

This is a graph of cumulative sales of both consoles from their launches. PS3 isn't even in Europe yet!Jakster4u
Well, the 2nd to 3rd months look dead even rate of sales. (slope is the same) This graph will be more interesting after the PS3 is out for at least 12 months.
[QUOTE="reilo"]5.5mil = NA.-RPGamer-
So then the TC mentioning Europe is completely moot.
Yes TC was making a valid point but screwed up in mentioning Europe.[QUOTE="-RPGamer-"][QUOTE="reilo"]5.5mil = NA.Thrice_III

Yes TC was making a valid point but screwed up in mentioning Europe. I didn't screw up I was just saying that good sales in EU could jump start the market over here.it's just showing a comparison between launches and has no real measure right now. The fact that this is the US is still funny because the PS3 is going to sell better in Asia and Europe. We can only wait and see a year from now.Jakster4u

Lol ok...shortages aside...you do see that in the 12th-14th month the 360 spiked HARD...which is coincidentally right around the Wii and PS3 launch windows.
Trading_Zoner
not to also mention around the same time gears of war came out.

The huge spike right when the PS3 and Wii launched is disturbing.
I can't see anywhere the 360 taking speed after March 2006. Was there really any shortage? It should have at least a little spike to when it became available, but nothing. Maybe it just changed some "month 1 sale" into "month 2/3/4/5"...Probably...
But during that time, the PS3 Outsell (for now) the 360 in north america for the 2 first months of the consoles.
