Best Graphics? Because I'm tired of hearing 'bout Crysis!

Crysis will be better looking than any console game this gen just like HL2 was last gen :|, the lemmings and cows that can't handle the fact their system is not graphics king need to give up on consoles and get a decent gaming pc, because if graphics are really all that matters to you (and they seem to from what I read) then you will be happier with a PC.SapSacPrime

TC you got it completely backwards in your original post. Saying that Crysis looks most appealing but isnt the greatest? are you out of you're mind? its the opposite.

It damn well is the Greatest. But it might not look the most appealing if you prefer a game with a certain art style like Gears 2 or Assassins Creed.

at First playing Crysis on high looks amazering. But on Very High their are times when I think the game looks photo realistic:)

same here. when you see the first opening being briefed in the vtol....man i was just blown away. the textures and detail on the characters were just SO far ahead of what consoles were capable of (previous to crysis i had only played the 360's best)

lol,why do people die after Crysis ? Its just a couple of beautiful trees which you can shoot down ! Far Cry 2 is much better.More realistic than Crysis.Open 50 sqr kilometer world streaming all at once thats awesome.Also they optimized the engine to run on consoles thats another advantage.

Have you seen Ubisoft advertising their "open 50 square kilometre Dunia engine" like Crytek did with the Cryengine 2? No. Why?

Because they know know it can never look better than Cryengine 2's success with Crysis.

Still I am excited of Far Cry 2.

To me Crysis and Far Cry 2 are the same look wise. Both very good looking games

Farcry has less DX10 features than Crysis, so overall it does obtain that plastic-like look more often.

Anywho, Crysis is better.

Now when a game looks like a cut scene i will say army of two cause i just played it and beat it. Some of the cut scences in there are amazing! Now when in gameplay looks like that then it would be Graphic King!!8)jasonheyman

Crysis is the most visually spectacular game, but that doesn't stop other games from being very visually appealing at all - I too rather Team Fortress 2s visuals more (I honestly think they are some of the strongest this generation)

This thread can be summed up with either of the following:

1) I can't afford a PC and I have some weird complex where I need to prove black really isn't black but white instead.

2) My bro's 'expensive' computer ran Crysis like crap and it didn't look good on it so therefore Crysis doesn't look good. It couldn't be that the millions of other people are right and my bro's computer isn't set up correctly.

You know what the funny thing is about Crysis? It's the graphics king in its vanilla state. Graphic mods have been released and made it look a lot better.

The wii disappointed me 2, but i wonder why the ps3 disappoint you?

Well I know what I've come to understand on this thread! Xplay don't mean nothing and their reviews are just wake! Gametrails.com is a fanboy place! I mean come on! Both those places are well and reliable! And face it the game didn't score perfect period! All though they did say it was beautiful they didn't give it "king" titlejasonheyman

And Gametrailers are really against PC for some reason. They didn't give Crysis graphics GOTY because they said you need a $5000 PC to run it. They've tried pulled off a lot of crap and got caught.

As far as PC gaming reviews come by you are better sticking to certain sites.

Xplay's PC gaming reviews from what have been posted here were shocking, and its well known that GT are poor PC game reviews (however they do seem to hit the console review mark).

Even if their (bogus) reason for Crysis not getting graphic goty held up - why would you idiotically dock a game for being so technically progressive? 'Sorry we dont think you are the best because you are too good for us'.

If anything Gamespot were spot on when it came to Crysis last year; especially in a year flooded with shooters, and are spot on with Crysis Warhead.
