Is it that good? I'm thinking about buying it but I've heard mixed reviews. I think it's a very fun game but there are definitely flaws I overlook because of my tastes. So don't buy it on my account.

I enjoy DQM: Joker .. has alot of gameplay value what with breeding and online. Anyway my vote goes to Pokemon aswell :D

Pokemon is teh kiddy, real men play games that use the Barbie licence.... :PThe downfall of Pokemon is that you cannot play it in public. Which takes the portable purposes out of the game. If you break it down though there is nothing about the game that is kiddy seeing to the fact that most kids below the age of 9 never finish the game. What gives Pokemon it's kiddy image is that terribly dubbed Japanese cartoon.
I've always found it interesting that people love Golder Sun. The story is nothing interesting, nor are the characters. I find that the game reeks of Camelot's Beyond the Beyond, which is a piss poor RPG. The Djinn development system lacks persistence. The only thing the game had going for it was that it did push the GBA graphical ability, even then it still reminded me of Beyond the Beyond.

I would say the Final Fantasy RPG for the original black and white Gameboy because I am hardcore and old school. Most of you were probably still getting your diapers changed when it came out but it was pretty awesome.
The answer is obviously Pokemon. It's, on many lists, a top 5 legendary game franchise. However, it is definitely worth noting GoldenSun. Camelot, STOP MAKING YOUR CRAPPY SPORTS GAMES AND GET BACK TO THE RPGS.
