best music in game

too many music that i like in game!

if i were to choose some that stick out, they are:

ff 10 opening music

ocarina of time music

• Shadow of the Colossus
• Chrono Trigger
• Castlevania: Symphony of the Night

I dunno, there hasn't been a game with aphex twin songs yet.

I'm gonna go with a classic and say Chrono Trigger, for best original music. For best liscenced soundtrack, Guitar Hero II is the obvious choice. 8)Watch_Me_Xplode

Original: Halo series. Its like the star wars of gaming.

Licensed: MLB 2K7. Not a fan of the game, but best licensed soundtrack I've seen. Nirvana, DFA 1979 and a bunch of others.

But as great as those are, my Zune is better.

The battle music in the final fantasy games

Super Mario 64 had a lot of great songs that blendid in with each leveland is my clear favorite

Shadow of the Colossus, Call of Duty, Halo, Final Fantasy.... I could keep going.

God Of War 

Killer 7 definitely had an awesome soundtrack. Fit in perfectly with the game.

 But the one track I'll never forget is the music in the Mega Man X opening highway level.

Usually turn off the games music and listen to my own - I do better
