Best Music Score - Video Game

What do you think are the games with the best Score in your opinion.

The music must be either score or orginal music just made for the game like the theme for Snake Eater for example but not stuff on guitar hero.

I would say:

Enemy Zero (Amazing piano riff in that game that just kinda felt really scary and went along with the game amazingly)

Metal Gear Solid 2 (loved the theme song/score for this game) 

Halo 2 ( Love the theme music no matter what anyone says it's great and it's a well done orchestra piece) 

Zelda: OoT/MM

Kingdom Hearts 1/2

Super Mario Bros.

Pharaoh

Radiata Stories

MGS3 and Shadow of the Colossus.-RastaDon-

Is it just me or did the end of Colossus make it feel like they could do another game. Hell even if it was a prequel with another guy who went to fight an old batch of colossi I wouldn't care... I just loved that gameplay so much I wanna buy it again man 

Halo 1 best music ever!!!!!!!!!!!

and Burnout 3 was pretty good(mostly the menu music)

How can no one have mentioned the hitman series, each game has a completely original yet fantastic musical score

Also halo 2 (halo 1 was also great but the way halo 2 expaned using both old and new songs was perfect for its role as a sequel), God of War, Gears of War (though you wont notice it till your third or fourth playthrough) and even the Prince of Persia series had afew great songs (particualarly the epic ones in the two thrones)

Final Fantasy VII ( One Winged Angel ... )

Advent Rising ( Muse, Poeta, Aurelia, Greater Lights )

I really dig the score to both God of War games. The music in that game defines epic.

And for a sports game, it's Fight Night Round 3. Nothing but great hip hop.

Had to bring the Amiga into this, didn't ya. :D It's true though, back in the days before the SNES and it's godly sound chip, the Amiga was crushing everything in sight with the sound quality. Until the Adlib came along, of course. :)

Had to bring the Amiga into this, didn't ya. :D It's true though, back in the days before the SNES and it's godly sound chip, the Amiga was crushing everything in sight with the sound quality. Until the Adlib came along, of course. :) 

I really wish i still had my old Amiga 500, emulating is just not the same, i wanna hear that floppy disk loading!!! :(

Oh and you can add the Monkey Island theme tune to the list, pure genius!

Nothing else comes CLOSE to these brilliant compositions. Nobuo Umetsu just copies off of great classical pieces. He doesn't even try to hide it--compare the end of "The Moldau" to the main theme of the final fantasies. Pretty sad if you ask me. His only good and original song was "The Place I'll Return to Someday." For the rest of his music, leave it to Michael Giacchino. Best videogame composer there ever was and will be.

I wouldn't know, I had the American version of the MSX. :|
