If the TC enjoys the game, why not play it? Because of someone else's opinion? You people are truly mislead, thinking a game has to get critically acclaimed reviews in order to be worthy of playing.
Reviews are based on opinion nowadays. I never listen to them....I normally only stick with series I've come to enjoy and don't look at newer series until I am ready. It is only recently that I bought many games that I normally would never have because I found them on sale....or for $20 dollars. I don't care what some reviewer on a site thinks of a game or a console for that matter. I never came to GameSpot for reviews and never really posted here until I heard about the PS3 launch, (shouldn't surprise you that I don't pay for the subscription, pointless in my opinion). I registered here because GS had a community and didn't expect you to pay to post....which I liked.......is the only thing I like about this site now.......the forums....I don't like System wars all that much though....
Bullet Witch? Understandable. That game was quite fun. Not great (repetitive, repetitive, repetitive!), and not very great visuals, but excellent art design and it's just plain fun to rip your way through a hoarde of geists to build up enough magive to bring down a gigas before ripping up a walnut head while dodging cars it's throwing at you.

Seriously Gamespot 5.5? Jesus Christ, I am glad I didn't past this one up.
I had tons of fun playing the game. The visuals are friggin amazing and so is are the explosions and spells.
The artistic design and atmophere are really really amazing. mestizoman
And thats why you shouldnt do drugs.... actually i like the explosions, but everything else is subpar I rented it a couple of days ago and it does have its occasional moments and its a fun way to waste a sunday morning, but under no circumstances would i call it 'good'
