Best new series made this gen?

There have been quite a few new series made this gen. Some will even go to the next gen and the gen after that.

But what are some of your favourite series that have started this gen? Could it be the lauded Gears Of War or Bayonetta?

What about the worst? Too Human? Dark Void?

Valkyria Chronicles is my favorite new franchise.

Probably Gears, or assassins creed.

Overall? Probably Uncharted.

My personal favorite is Etrian Odyssey.

Left 4 dead PC I played the first one for 780 hours before I got bored of it. Most time I have ever played on a game.

Assassin's Creed for me. Uncharted deserves mention as a close second. Don't know if it counts, but also Fabula Nova Crystallis.

I'm going to have to go with the conventional answers here: Mass Effect and Uncharted.

These are the two new IPs excelling in both quality and character, in particular their sequels.

Uncharted or probably little big planet.

Between Uncharted and RDR for me. Both I have alot of trouble finding any issues with whatsoever.

Dead space is my favorite with mass effect a close second. I was playing through deadspace again today actually.
