Hands down, Vermintide. Its basically Left 4 Dead with improvements and better customization. I'm kind of shocked you listed The Mean Greens. No one talks about it. Flew under the radar.
I voted for Siege, Verdun is good but very rough around the edges, Squad and KF2 are in Early Access so I wont consider them for now.
Vermintide is more about the melee combat but overall I think Siege is still a better game
I'm thinking of buying Insurgency while it is still on sale., Mean Greens looks alright but the gun play is average and doesn't seem to do anything with being in third person view and the unique setting, and I am definitely getting Killing Floor 2, what is the name of that game of the picture at the bottom?
If I could have any of these games on console I would want Verdun, and Vermintide is supposed to come to consoles still and I want that too.
Robot Roller-Derby Disco Dodgeball is the only 2015 shooter on PC I've played I believe, that one is fun.
Running With Rifles and Assault Android Cactus seem like games I would like but I don't have them yet.
Not a good year for FPS. Next two years are looking way better. I enjoyed The Old Blood the most. Haven't played Vermintide yet. Will pick up this week.
TC posted games that are available on Steam whether early access or not. They're good shooters in their own. I'll also mention Toxikk (Steam), well Unreal Tournament gets coverage. If i see Epic Games as a PC developer, Shadow Complex Remaster is one of the best side scrolling shooters you can get. I'm still getting this feeling that something important is missing and haven't listed it yet. It's hard to remember everything.
What is the name of that game of the picture at the bottom?
Wolfenstein: The Old Blood. ^ I think OP forgot to post pics/links of R6: Siege & Killing Floor 2.
This list sucks tbh.
Hah gotta love SW. Every game or list sucks before playing it, all the time XD.
@aroxx_ab: we can count betas?
Dont know, up to TC i guess but imo it have not come that many (good) fps this year and Overwatch is by far the best one "playable" this year.
Overwatch beta, Doom alpha, The Division alpha, Superhot beta, Squadreon 42 etc ... let them come in 2016. :D

It doe suck. All of these games will be forgotten in a few months.
Since i can't vote for Overwatch, i choose the second best team-focused FPS that came out this year.
Dirty Bomb.
As much as i loved R6 Siege for its unique and inventive mechanics, i can't excuse it for absolutely botching the foundation of multiplayer games - the netcode.
I couldn't tell you how many rounds i have lost being killed 3 seconds after clearing a corner or unloading half a magazine into a dude and not killing him (although UBI made an effort to address this in the first patch and, i hope, will continue doing so in the future).
But hey, even the most competetive shooter out right now, CS:GO can't claim to have best hit detection.
Well Dirty Bomb fucking can.
It's a shooter that you can't really call inventive in any way.
But what it does, it does exceptionally well.
The movement, the maps, the gunplay, the UI, the netcode. Superb.
