Best performance by a single voice actor in '08?

So what do you think? Which are your candidates for best performance by a single voice actor this year? Who, what game, what character?

My personal pick would be Patric Zimmerman as Liquid Ocelot in MGS4. Simply brilliant, flawless voice acting. It all just screams of epicness! I also thought David Hayter gave his best performance as Snake since MGS1. I really do think he got this 'dying and tired old man' style very well!

well since you dont care, would it bother you if the voice actors put no pride in their roles and made the game extremely painful to listen to? I actually prefer voice actors over screen actors...but anyway, id have to go with Hayter also.

Maybe Pat Zimmerman as Liquid Ocelot. It wasn't the most realistic voice, and was quite over the top at times, but he's supposed to be a mean old guy, and as such, he's very dramatic with that, so it was really cool.

Then there's Liam Neeson as your father in Fallout 3. I wish he'd had more of a part in the game.

Whoever did the voices of Marlowe, Sweetw4ter, Haggard, and Sarge in Battlefield: Bad Company. They were entertaining.

The guy who voiced Jansen Freidh in Lost Odyssey,those that played the game would know the voice pretty much made the character. I usually opt for the japanese voice overs when given the chance but after watching a cutscene i knew i had to put it on English. I also heard that he does knuckles in the sonic games.

Robin Atkins Downes (For his portrayal of Travis Touchdown in No More Heroes.)

Quinton Flynn (For his portayal of Henry in No More Heroes and Raiden in MGS4.)

Hayter was best in MGS3 and MGS1, but not 4. Your true voice actor of the year? The guy who did Niko Bellic. Niko is the best protagonist in a GTA yet. Honorable mention, the new Prince.Rodneythepom

Little Jacob was the best performance of the year, in my opinion. Brucie was also terrific. Niko was a great performance but the supporting characters really take the cake.

Malcolm McDowell in Fallout 3, great albeit minimal.

Gary Oldman as the Russian Sergeant in Call of Duty: World at War was brilliant, the man is a cult legend.

Patric Zimmerman gets props for giving the most convincing-yet-over-the-top performance I've ever heard.
