For the last year I use Amazon.com. You can get release date delivery and it equals the same you get on tax.

As a bonus Amazon usually gives you 10 bucks towards your next game purchase. With Bad Company 2 I got 20 dollars towards my next purchase, which was sweeet.

I got tired of being ripped off a gamespot and even sell my games on amazon.

Where is your favorite place?

Ebay, Amazon Japan, Gamebaz, Play Asia, and Yahoo Japan.

Eurogamer might be one of my favorites one day also.

Yeah, I usually buy new at amazon or sometimes newegg unless I want a specific pre-order bonus. Otherwise I will just buy used games from ebay.

im buying all my games from best buy now. with the rewards zone club you can rack up points for store certificates. i just used $45 worth of certs last week towards heavy rain. i also like newegg.com. you can pick up some older games you might have missed out on for dirt cheap.

For used games try out gohastings. They were selling COD2 a few weeks ago for $5, and sell other games pretty cheap.

I'm a prime member with Amazon and they are the best.

I just got BC 2 for $50 and that got me a $20 credit to get GOW III for $37... Then that gave me $10 credit to get Red Dead for $47...

Add in no tax and release date delievery and you win...

Plus why is this in SW? :P

I buy games at local independent stores, not like EB games, they just rip you off. Independent stores often price the games at a lower price, they have a MUCH bigger selection of retro games and they also repair games/consoles, and they don't ask you how old you are when you try to buy an M rated game.

My favorite retailers are either Microcenter or Amazon. Microcenter has a pretty decent selection, and Amazon's pricing is second to none. I shop nowhere else.

And yes, Amazon is the best place.

I think Gamestop is good. There is nothing really wrong with them. BUT, its better than most stores if you are looking for old ps2/xbox/gamecube games.

I always go to Gamestop, sometimes Walmart or Bestbuy. But Gamestop has the best selection and good prices. I don't understand the hate most gamers have for Gamestop, it's just a video game store. Go to the store, pay the price for your game and leave. You're done. Ignore the scams. Just tell them you don't want an edge card or a magazine subscription. No one's forcing you to pay extra. And the employees are always helpful and friendly.

I live in NYC, so for bigger cities... Mom and Pop shops, they always have games before street date.

BUT

if you live in the middle of nowhere or a rural town with only Gamestop... ONLINE is the best place for deals.

I usually do GameStop but I got Bad Company 2 off Amazon and was very impressed by their $20 towards my next game purchase. I was uncertain on whether or not to buy Just Cause 2 but now that I can get it for $40 I don't see why not

Amazon.com. usually unbeatable, depending on the day.

I've gotten DS games that are only 2 months old for less than 1/2 retail price, new. top tier DS games.

Last gen games, even the hard to get gamecube ones, are dirt cheap.

Most wii games that sell poorly are downpriced to $15.

even new games are often 3-5 dollars cheaper and have no tax and free shipping.

Amazon.com, Ebay.com, Half.com, Estarland.com, & Newegg.com. Also buy a lot of games on Steam & GOG.
