REMOTE PLAY!!!!!! The fact that I can slap Final Fantasy IX in my PS3 and then play it on my PSP from anywhere is friggin SWEET!!! I play it at work on my lunch break all the time. Also works with a lot of PSN titles like Bionic Commando Rearmed and PixelJunk Monsters and PixelJunk Eden. Also any PS1 titles you by from PSN you can remote play. Why there isnt more Wii/DS connectivity than the lame DS demo stuff boggles my mind as there are so many of both out there.

remote play is awesom, i use it with play tv when im out so i can watch tv where ever there is an internet connection or tell my ps3 to record live tv if im out of the country.

i wonder if the psp go would allow us to play ps3games similiar to that onlive concept

NO, some games allow for PSP connectivity in-game for other features. For instance, dont quote me on this as i dont own GT5:P, but I believe you can use the PSP as a rear view mirror when playing. Also, if you have Resistence 2, you can "infect" your PSP and it gives you extra content in Resistence Retribution

Remote play is awesome if you set it up right and you are using your PS3 as a media hub. With my PSP I can remotely turn on my PS3 which is connected to my mediacenter PC and watch all my shows on Hulu, my DVR recorded TV shows, Netflix, etc.... all from my PSP anywhere I want. I use this all the time almost daily. It's really sweet. Even when I work out I'll sit my PSP on the elliptical and watch my shows. I also like that the PS1 games you buy from the store work on the PS3 and PSP. They make really good inexpensive portable games, I just wish there were more :)

remote play is find and dandy and all, but you have to find wifi points, you also dont have all the button set ups of the ps3 controller, which prevents you from playing a lot of ps3 games. bah.

Not many of the full games do because of the lack of dual analogs on the PSP, but there are a few. My favorite to play on Remote play is PSN: Las Vegas Strip Poker

Don't get a ny funny ideas, it just means it's on the Las Vegas strip :)

Remote play is pretty cool, I played through a good amount of my PS1 games on my PSP at school because of it.

It is a great feature, yes. Can't the Wii and DS do anything like that? Lazy Nintendo.

Very awesome feature indeed. I suppose it isn't talked all that much because it requires both the PS3 and PSP.

aye its a kewl feature..though i wouldnt depend on it for any sort of twitch gaming. i remember playing FF7 on it and it would take around half a sec for the game to react to my input. it was an adhoc wireless connection between my PSP and PS3 with full signal strength also (the PS3 was just in the next room) so i dont think the connection was up to the job. in FF7 thats not a big deal of course. wipeout was unplayable though (but i could just move that from my PS3 to my PSP...problem solved :D). its like onlive...on a very small scale. the PS3 plays the game and sends the data to ure PSP and the PSP sends controller input. also shows the pitfalls onlive has to overcome.

it only works good with rpgs with turn base, because of that split second delay form the ps3 to the psp fast acion games are to hard. and i thought this was going to be about game sharing which i find much better than this

You are right, there are lag issues for me as well. Doesnt seem to bad most of the time, but I did die quite a few times on Bionic Commando Rearmed because of lag

I reckon the best feature no one talks about is the video codec support the PS3 has. I store all my movies and TV shows on there and can go from a game straight into a movie at any time.

You fail. The Xbox 360 plays more movie formats. Out of 10 movies that I watch, 8 run on the PS3 and all 10 run on the 360. But PS3 upscales..

It doesn't have to be illegal. Also, SOny does sells PsOne games through the PSN for your PSP ;).

I agree, thats what I do. I have been playing Twisted Metal 2 on my PSP almost non-stop. I just bought my PSP, I got it with 4 games and a 2 gig memory stick for $50! So, I figured I couldn't go wrong and I love it so far.
