Best Racing game at E3 , hint it's not GT5

Plenty of competiton this gen in racing , this is a good thing.

The reason I'm interested in Hot Pursuit is because Hot Pursuit 2 on the PS2 was the last Need for Speed title I liked I sort've liked Underground but thats when they changed it to be about tuning up your car I don't want to do that.

No cockpit/dashboard view = no sale. Tired of third person racing games was the same with Blur these devs need to at least give the option for dashboard at this point. Thats the only reason I'm actually interested in TDU2 and Driver. For me it's infinately more immersive in first person. Why these devs don't notice the correlation between the best selling games offering first person(Halo, COD) is beyond me because it certainly applies to more than just fps.

Wrong. It's TDU2 ;)

based on the previews...I don't think it is a racing game. It seems to be more of a cat and mouse game with cops versus drivers.

meh, IDC much about these games, Im fine with my Mod Nation Racer and Mario kart...yeaa I guess in the racing genre I pretty much fall into the stereotype "lol but but it doesnt have t3h kiddiez kartzzz"

Who said he's a cow? , sigh all you want Motorstorm 3, NFS, and GT5 were the only nominees for "best game of e3" in the racing category so he did spin it as to why GT5 didn't win. Deal with it.

N4S games have been crap in the last few years. I would go with Test drive Unlinited 2. The first one was amazing

well hopefully the new NFS title will be good... NFS Shift was good...

Also games such as TDU2 & Motorstorm3 look like both will be great games too..

GT5 though is just on another level compared to these titles... a higher one :P

Criterion is on the helm in the latest installment to NFS, I definitely have belief that they will pull off yet another fine arcade racer. Though from the live demo, it seems that the racer did play it easy for the cop to bust him out, still I will reserve judgement untill more gameplay vids are released.
