Easily RE2. It took everything RE1 did and made it a billion times better

RE2 was the only Resident Evil I could actually sit through and finish multiple times.
Ya but the other ones always tried something new. They always kept the game fresh. Especially from 3 to CV and CV to 4. I mena look almost half the franchise was scrapped half the time. 2 was scrapped, 4 was scrapped, and I believe CV was scrapped at some point too.
:lol: whos the one person that picked craptastic 5 ? anyways I go with 4 because it actaully innovated the series. Next would be 2 and then the GC remake of 1
Resident Evil Remake for Gamecube running on Dolphin, that's the best you can get. The last two games are fun, but aren't intelligent and scary like the first trilogy.

RE3 mainly cause jill is awesome and it has the best tyrant in RE series. At least to me. Ug cant believe 4 is so high. Guess thats when alot of people jumped on the RE wagon. RE4 was good and all,but I would choose 1,2,3 and remake over it any day of the week.
RE4 and RE5 are bad Resident Evil games but really good action games, especially part 4. Part 5 was like a Michael Bay movie. I would say RE or Code Veronica..or any of the first 4 games since they are survival horror.
I emagine that most here voted for 4 because its so close to a normal everyday run of the mill shooter. Most here have probably never played the 1st one. It is the very best out of the series to me by far. Absolutely scary and full of excitement..
The RE series is one of my favourites, so it's really hard to choose. I'd probably have to go with RE3, because I've played through it so many times and the nemesis is the greatest RE monster ever.
I wanted to have RE 2 and Wiimake fight for the number one spot but as I have played 4 way more than either of them I had to vote 4. 2 is probably the best non fully 3d game in the RE univers.
