I'm gonna go with SQ42 even though I haven't played it yet. Based on the SC Alpha, I think it's gonna be ridiculously epic.
Well some games didn't release yet, for me so far it's DOOM, Mars planet setting is just something that never gets old for me. Great atmosphere
Probably Deus Ex. All of these games should be good... except for Halo Wars; that game is probably going to be fairly mediocre, and maybe Space Hulk Deathwing.
Dues Ex probably. Although that laughable bald Russian baddie and Adam Jensens oh so emotional "so much pain" speech while murdering the shit out of people has me worried somewhat.
Of the games currently released, Stellaris.
Of the games coming out later in the year...hmm...probably Torment, if that makes 2016.
I'm thinking Halo Wars 2 or Gears 4 for me.
Who would've guessed?
Deus Ex or DOOM for me.
Indeed, gotta keep ya guessing just to make it interesting. lol :P
Most of those aren't even out yet.
And 40K isn't science-fiction, it's science-fantasy.
Technology to humans in the 41st millenium is not even understood (people called techmarines perform religious rituals and "talk to the machine spirits" (which are leftover AI's from the high age of technology) in order to make sure they continue to work) and people who travel in the Immaterium (aka The Warp) a place of pure emotional energy used to travel faster than the speed of light, pray to a man who became a God, who was killed by his son and is being kept alive by the daily sacrifice of 1000 psychic-powered individuals and because of this lack of understanding of the technology, they don't know how to keep the aging medical throne working to keep him alive.
40K is fucking awesome but it's anything but sci-fi.
