Best selling exclusive game of 2014?

When I saw who's thread this was I had a feeling it would suck. As soon as I clicked on it all my expectations were confirmed. This thread sucks.

I'm still not a fan of listing multi-platform games as exclusive.

Sims 4 or Titanfall

Mario Kart 8 has no chance, Wii U is dead, would be lucky to sell 2mil copies

Star Citizen has been crowd funded, so it's hard to compare it to the other games sales

Titanfall is not an exclusive game. It will be on 3 platforms, this means its multiplat. Just saying....... (dont even try and say its microsoft exclusive, LOL)

Titanfall. Only because it comes out in March so games like Uncharted, Halo 2 and Halo 5 are going to hit in the fall so they won't have time to catch it. If they all released at the same time then that's a different story and one that ends with Halo taking it I'd imagine

Well but it is exclusive. It is not on Nintendo or Sony platform. Windows = Microsoft. Xbox One = Microsoft.

What PS3 and PS4 games? There are no huge seller games on PS3 or PS4. InFamous 2 sold only 1 million with 85 million install base PS3 while Halo 3 sold over 11 million. So far PS4 got nothing big. Xbox One got Titanfall, Halo 5, Halo 2 and Kinect Sports Rivals which sells millions without problem. If Sony had Gran Turismo 7 ready to release 2014 then i would added in poll but so far PS4 got nothing. Sorry.

Well let´s say if Titanfall comes out March then sale counts till next March. If Halo comes out in November then sale counts till next November.

Going to say Sims 4. The PC base for that game is huge compared to the install base of the Xbox One/Playstation 4/Wii U at the moment. Console wise I will say Titanfall.

Is Halo 5 due out this year? Also I am surprised at a lack of nominations for the Playstation 4. The Wii U has a smaller install base so even if the percentage was lower (I do not know if it is or not, so can not comment on that) of console to game purchase rate, a Playstation 4 exclusive game would still have a better chance of out selling a Wii U exclusive title.

Why do people keep saying Titanfall is a Xbox one exclusive title? Let me tell you PC does equal to Microsoft mainly because from each copy of the Pc version of Titanfall sold Microsoft gets no money at all. However from each Xbox one and Xbox 360 copy Microsoft does make money.

If it was on 2 different company platform then it wouldnt be exclusive. So far this Titanfall is console exclusive(You can´t buy it on PS4 or Wii U). 95% gamespot users owns only gaming consoles not gaming PCs. So far it´s exclusive, company exclusive. Nice try tho :)

This is really not a good list. The TC didn't spend any time thinking about his choices.

Star Citizen isn't coming out this year (only alpha and beta), Eve will not even be close to best selling, Titanfall isn't an exclusive (This is system wars and not console wars).

Best Selling Exclusives will be Halo 5 or Warlords of Draenor. I am glad you threw Halo 5 on there but those other options are horribly researched.

Making predictions about what will be the best selling exclusive this year in February is stupid. But in this case I will make an exception and it will be Dino Crisis 4, announced at E3 exclusive to PlayStation 4 and selling twenty billion copies on release in November.

Left 4 dead is available on non Microsoft platforms.

Probably Sims 4. If there where more WiiUs out there I would go with the Nintendo ones.

This means all Wii U games are multiplatform games because i can play those also on PC. People seriously believe that MS will release TWO Halo titles this year? They're only saying that Halo 5 will be out this year so people have a reason to buy the Bone for more than a multiplat with bots and a 10y remake of Halo 2... When we're close to Halo 5's launch it will be 'delayed' (which isn't even delayed because the game was never ready to be released this year) and probably released September 2015. Angry Birds is out on an unholy number of systems, but it's not out on SNES or Sega Genesis, so it's an exclusive.

There will be a new Call of Duty out this year, it's going to be an exclusive, because it's not on Vita.

If halo 5 does not release this year the best selling exclusive in that list will either be mario kart 8,super smash bros or another exclusive not in that list. Titanfall does not count since that is a multiplat..I'm not sure if halo 2 anniversary will sell a lot yet.
