Halo will probably have more sells in 2010 while GT has more lifetime sells.

Halo will sell more in '10, but in the long run GT5 will outsell it.

I'm not sure why but i think halo: reach would sell more if it was called halo 4. Idk.

Galaxy has sold about 8-9 million copies. It'll be difficult for Galaxy 2 to surpass it.

This fellow is correct. For precedent, NSMB DS = 20 million or so. 2d Mario is pretty much the nuclear bomb of gaming, and the fallout will last for a long, long time...

I think Halo Reach will beat GT5.

The old GTs sold 10+ million on the much larger PS2 install base. Halo 3 was launched to a much smaller 360 install base and has sold 10 million. Also, I think the huge gap between GT games coupled with Forza stealing some of its thunder has hurt the brand name.

Mario Galaxy 2 will outsell both its a Mario game.

The GT series has churned some amazing numbers. But I'm gonna risk it this time and go with Halo. I'm gonna say a ridiculously huge install base won't help GT this time.

I dont think racing games are NEARLY as popular as they used to be, and if Prologues numbers are indicative of the current Ps3 owner racing sim fanbase. Than I dont think its even going to be close. Now when you pull out an expansion and it sells like hotcakes, I think you have a seller. Also everyone likes fps, and this new game will use a custom engine with tesselation (ooooooo tesselation) yeah.

Gran Turismo 5 because halo ODST did horrible in the sales.
