San Andreas was my fav. The selection of classic rock, alternative rock and hip hop in that game was godly.

lV  by far had the most diverse sound track and best.  Nothing like driving around with 1979 playing in the back.  The best talk show's were in GTA lll.

Vice City because V-Rock is the best radio station in the GTA series IMO.

Vice City absolutely nailed the 80s atmosphere. San Andreas had some great tracks as well.

- Emotion 98.3 (VC) - VRock (VC) - Radio Los Santos (SA) Those are my three favorite music stations. Vice City had the best (by far) overall soundtrack. Best talk radio is probably a tie between VC and SA.

Vice City all day, every day, twice on Sunday. Best game in the series in terms of music, voicework, humor, atmosphere, and mission structure. I just wish you could swim and it'd be perfect (controls are awesome on PC with mouselook).

Honestly, All I remember in regards to the music in GTA, is driving around in my car in GTA III listening to LIPS106, for the rare times when they would play Joyride (aka the GTA theme).

Can't choose between GTA Vice City and San Andreas (voted San Andreas on the poll just to help it balance out), both games had amazing soundtracks, GTA IV had a decent one. The Soundtrack in GTA III (and Liberty City Stories for that matter) was awful.
