Best Soundtrack in a video game?

Has got to be the main theme song for The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind.

It has a very LotR-like quality to it...made you feel part of something epic.

I'm gonna stay away from my usual answer (which is from Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Sonic CD, etc), but here's a new one:

Gauntlet: Dark Legacy- Mystic Pyramid- I really love the Egyptian feel to it, since the realm is Ancient Egyptian themed.

Sonic 06, its a GOD-AWFUL game but every single soundtrack on the game is amazing.

For TC Hitman games have pretty good soundtracks. As a whole, i would say Warcraft 3. So many good tracks there.

The best soundtrack in a game would have to be Donkey Kong Country. Every song in that game is amazing. I also like the soundtracks of Mario RPG and Diddy Kong Racing. Anyone else who is a classic gamer I think would agree on one of the games I mentioned.

As always, it shall remain SonicAdventure -- I would play many stages just to hear quality theme songs like this and that a crazy amount of times.

After more than 10 years this Final Fantasy 8 song is imprinted in my mind.
