That's a weak poll TC I would go with either MGS4 or SMG.

I'd also like to add to this thread lost Odyssey.

I'd go as far as saying that the music was better than the actual game itself

I like the Halo 3 music, but it does'nt beat MGS4. Uncharted 2 also has some amazing music. Check out "Nate's theme 2.0"...OMG.

I love TWEWY's soundtrack but you only get SMG level music rarely. Such a magical score. TWEWY is definitely the most unique though.

I have the sudden urge to want to play MGS4 again.

For me it is between Bioshock, Mass Effect and Metal Gear Solid 4. They all make me feel very attached to the games and actually move me emotionally. Thatspeaks volumes (sorry for the pun :P)about a game in my opinion

I was going to say Tales of Vesperia at first (I mean c'mon, its friggin Motoi Sakuraba)

but I'll change my vote. TWEWY definitely has the most unique soundtrack this gen

Thing about TWEWY is that I only really got attached to like 5 or 6 songs. The soundtrack as a whole was fantastic and some of the music was quote mood setting but for me, SMG is like quite possibly the best soundtrack ever. Its my favourite of all time. Its soundtrack is woven into each level with such beautiful craft and care that the music is entirely part of the experience. Almost to the point where withoutthe soundtrack the game would be incomplete. I refuse to play it with no volume lol.

Uncharted 1 and 2 hands down, especially the first Uncharted. The soundtrack would be greatin a movie but just feels perfectly constructed for a game, knowing exactly when to cycle between catchy rhythms, long orchestral pieces and well paced stalls. I could previously only expect that from John Williams, well now John Williams has a competitor! Uncharted is the only game i've ever played through just to listen to the soundtrack again.

ODST, SMG, LO, Brutal Legend, and Mass Effect. Everything else is underwhelming.

Have to go with ether MGS4,The Witcher or Brutal Legend

Uncharted 1/2, Greg Edmonson has a gift for making unique engrossing music.

u guys need to hear persona 4. and if that doesnt count as this gen, then brutal legend. killzone 2 also has a pretty good soundtrack too.

The Mirror's Edge song is better than any other song I've heard in any other game this gen...I enjoyed most of the songs on it. Mirror's Edge for me
